I wish he would have given concrete examples of how one is "sanctioned" when one speaks out against popular opinion on issues of marriage and sexuality and so forth. And doesn't moral courage extend beyond merely sexual issues? Shouldn't the church be taking "problematic" positions on poverty, war, and capital punishment? If the church was more assertive on these issues, would this not also bring the "sanctions" down on it that the Archbishop makes general reference to? wouldn't this be courage?

Let me add this: As a Roman Catholic, and a Human Being, all the rights

I enjoy come from God. No government or no man, gives me rights.

I deny any government or individual from infringing on my God given rights.

Any law that is passed denying me any right, I will not obey,

I put many years in the US Navy. I am also ready to fight any tyranny

coming from this sham of a government. May God help and bless all of

us.
