Awesome workmanship on the suits! Did they get hot? Have you tried installing 12v DC fans in the heads or something, that's going on my next suit for some kind of air flow.
They get very hot, but once your body adjusts to the temperature, it gets fairly comfortable. I don't have a fan in my suit's head, but the huge eyes provide a LOT of ventihlation.
Most cons have one to tell people about how to interact with fursuits without any incidents, IE damaging the suit or scaring the people wearing them. Every con has a schedule of panels, and it'll be on the schedule - it's usually one of the first panels.
Depends on what you're doing and what you wear underneith. If you wear the suit over bare skin, it's extremely uncomfortable. Wear the right light cloth undergarments (like underarmour), and it's pretty comfy, but no matter what you do, it'll always be very hot.

Awesome workmanship on the suits! Did they get hot? Have you tried installing 12v DC fans in the heads or something, that's going on my next suit for some kind of air flow.

They get very hot, but once your body adjusts to the temperature, it gets fairly comfortable. I don't have a fan in my suit's head, but the huge eyes provide a LOT of ventihlation.

Most cons have one to tell people about how to interact with fursuits without any incidents, IE damaging the suit or scaring the people wearing them. Every con has a schedule of panels, and it'll be on the schedule - it's usually one of the first panels.

Depends on what you're doing and what you wear underneith. If you wear the suit over bare skin, it's extremely uncomfortable. Wear the right light cloth undergarments (like underarmour), and it's pretty comfy, but no matter what you do, it'll always be very hot.

I've been in a parade, and attended huge festivals, all in my fursuit, where, each time, I made dozens of people's days, put smiles on hundreds of people's faces, and made lots of children very happy to get to hug a giant otter.
The rest my time is spent having a great life and making a good living from a successful career in programming.
What do you do with YOUR life? :)

Furry is not something we're born with, it's not something we don't have control over. It's our choice, and if someone has a problem with our choice, that's perfectly fine.

I am a hulder, which is a member of what is currently the most on-the-fringe therian movement of this time. We wear tails because we feel incomplete without the small vestigial tail that some people are born with. Whereas furries may wear a tail for fun, we need one to feel whole. I suspect that there are some hulderfolk trapped in the closet in the furry fandom, especially as most therians only visualize their tails on their wereside.

I wanted to know if any of you furries are wearing tails to feel whole and not just for the fun of it. Many furries can't afford fursuits because they are expensive, so many just wear tails. Have you ever come across a furry who wears his tail because it's his prosthetic limb and not a costume? I asked the other therians if they knew of any fellow hulderfolk and they said no, so I am now going to ask the furries.
