Hey dude iv got basically the same mic well one made my RØDE and have a look that a Firmware thing call magic Lantern this was a life saver for me I LOVE IT just make sure you do it right and follow the step there r heaps of tutorial on how to install It because that buzz or hissing sound is because of canon AGC this firmware will allow you to fix this by turning it off I really think you should do this as you rig looks to heavy and this would make life so much cheaper and easier for you . Plus
@TheArtisticStudios Thank you for sharing!!!! I am well aware of the Magic lantern Firmware, It is a great solution for disabling the AGC!!! I am a little reluctant at hacking my 5D because I do use it for photography as well, and by changing the firmware it will alter the functionalities of the Canon firmware. Idk if i am prepared to do that!!!
@tlae3 I find it funny that people never really discuss how heavy their rig are!!! i was really shocked at how heavy it actually was after the set everything up!!! and thats without a Matte Box and Follow Focus!!!! (Scary) lol

@abi01 Cpmfilm tools had a video showing exactly how to out the rig to the plate and slide it on the tripod im going to see if i can find the video and i will send you the link ok!!!!!!

I'm thinking of buy a Lilliput monitor pretty soon, I'm just afraid of 1 think.
I read a few times that some monitors have issue while you're recording.
Once you push on the record button the image on the screen is kind of squeezing to a 4:3 end then once you stop recording it's going back to a 16:9 ratio !
Can you tell me how it's going for you ?

@GabryHell All is well brother first of i want to apologize for the late response!!! i have not experienced any squeezing of the ration when i record and i had the monitor for close to a year not and have not had any other problems with it as well! I actually like the liliput monitor personally!! it may not be your high end monitor but it is very cost effective and it does the job!!!
