@tvd1981~ Hey, you should've included "Love Lies" too... Steve was in love with alcohol. He had a relationship with it... and IT LIES... and alcohol killed him dead!
Alcohol is not bad.. not at all. But if it makes you addicted, RUN FOR THE HILLS, away from it. I, personally, like it. It helps wind me down sometimes; BUT I cannot touch weed or cocaine or vicoden anymore. It is too powerful for me.. the addiction, that is. Everyone's chemistry is different. Peace.
What I truely admire about DL is they reallystuck by & supported Rick Allen & they also stuck by Steve to the very end trying to help them in any way they could. If Steves dad could of just told steve just 1 time good job son I'm really proud of you just maybe he would of had more confidence in himself and would be with us today. His dad was a royal asshole from what I seen & heard.
@joeelliott1994 Wisewood Cemetery is in Hillsborough, Sheffield. The grave is situated close to the entrance. As the road drops down from the entry gate, keep to the left as it splits into a Y. Follow the edge of the path and keep looking towards the left. His grave is just a few rows away from the road.
@gHoStsOfTheHollow I do daily! I party hard daily, I fuck whores and sluts, do blow, weed, drink, cuss, listen to death metal, make fun of religion, steal, cheat, and sin, sin, sin! If I die tonight, IT'S OVER, NADA, SEE YA.
@gHoStsOfTheHollow I know what you meant! Much harder for you to prove there is a god. There is no rational argument for cancer, aids, MS, and all of the other many diseases.
@arthurkitchen we have evidence for God, and cancer is one of them "the wages of sin is death". These things are explained in the bible. So cancer does not prove that there is no God.
@gHoStsOfTheHollow The bible? Are you serious? The biggest fictional work EVER! The bible is just a load of crap that is clearly fiction! You really need to get out and live a little! Go get you a good whore or nasty slut and do some good drugs!
Even though I wasn't born yet until a little over a year after Steve's death, just seeing all these music videos and interviews from the 80s w/ him in them, just makes me feel like i wish he was alive right now!
Steve Clark = A Legend
Just Remember, Legends NEVER die! Steve is still here! Still in EVERY fan's heart! Believe It!
@ClassicMusicGirl I remember the day he died, I was driving, just got in my car and turned on the radio and the station was playing leppard song right after another and i was like "wtf?" because normally the stations don't play back to back songs from a band unless the band is in town, then after "Women" the DJ said these words "Thank you for listening to our tribute to Steve Clark who was found dead today..." I was very upset. My favorite guitarist had died. That day was 01/08/91
That is some creepy music and even sadder the choice he made, had he not chosen drugs/alcohol & to drive maybe he would still be here...very sad indeed! Lesons learned in life are learned easier by others mistakes! Don't make the same one!
You never had to live the life he had to live either man. He had to live with his 'ol man telling him that music was not a proper way of making a living, just b/c Steve was more successful and had more money, than his 'ol man working in a factory. Those were different times man. Everyone deals with their problems differently and the mind is a very STRONG thing and it can make you do things that you can't even imagine. He died accidentally from pain killers and booze(he had broken ribs)no OD
God Bless you Steve, perfection still in you, in other place, in other way, you live in our hearts and minds whith a great example how human can reach the virtuosity.........forever.....i´ll remenber you when I lisent a the extraordinary rock piece...SWITCH 625.
That was the perfect song for this video! I love all of the photos. It actually made me cry! *sniffle sniffle* I wish I could have met him :( Rest In Peace
i was never a def leppard fan , but you can tell , in an industry full of magalomaniacs and scum ,he seemed to good for that . you can see it in his eyes ! rip
It gave me chills too. I remember when Steve died. he was too young. A good friend of mine died the exact same way, mixuture of alchol and pills, at the same age as Steve. I was the one who found him. It's so-o-o sad, and s-o-o-o needless. Addiction of any kind is a heartbreaking and often fatal disease. RIP Steve. You are missed. Thanks for posting this.
yeah, this really makes me cry...It wasn't fare Steve dying so young...just such tallend didn't have to end up this way.He has so much to sow the world and the fans...it's so sad.... just RIP Steve... live forever in our hearts
I also lost someone the same way. It is a horrible heartbreaking disease. This was a beautiful tribute for such a talented, sweet, gorgeous man! He will be missed!
I have chills running down my spine, for one, i loved Steve, and two, watching this and knowing he's gone, it is just too painful..All kids out there, please don't drink alcohol, it might destroy your life, and life of those who love you, and for the most, it'll destroy your dreams. It ended up Steve's dreams as well.
This is great. It makes me sad to think of him dying like that at home alone. This is the song I have told everybody that I want played at my funeral ever since I heard it the very first time. Great video.
Yes, this is Steve's house without doubts. Steve's address was Old Church Street 44, Chelsea. But some nearly houses are similar and all have a cow's head.
Steve left us too soon. Gone but never forgotten when listening to him sing today. He will live on in our memory.
