If you didn't have an 8-track player and Jerry Clower tapes back in the '70's. You missed out on one hillarious Sunday afternoon. One of the best memories I had as a kid.
My Grandparents were from Amite county and my grandfather drove Jerry Clower to school on his schoolbus. My aunt Mildred Causey Campbell lived across the highway from his place near East fork. I loved that man!
A friend of mine thought the funniest thing she'd eve heard Clower do was the sound effect of the rattly old truck - "BLOP ba-BLOP ba-BLOP ba-BLOP!" :D
erm problem is grade school simple...sad but true...when you dont like yourself you attack someone else to deflect the fact that you are not what you want to be. Jerry was a very funny man and a good Christian. And everyone please pray for erm as he truly needs Christ in his life. The death of anyone is a sad day and a reason to morn. Rest in peace Jerry

You flip out because I correctly criticize a criminally unfunny "comic," and I'm bipolar? I guess your ability to detect irony has been (in)bred out of you.
The irony is that you find humor in Jerry's death-only a sick fuck would actually admit that. Now, turn off Sponge Bob, and go clean out your double wide.

Somebody loved Pol Pot. Somebody loved Uday Hussein. Somebody loved John Gacy.
While this dullard never killed, his stupidity and unoriginality, combined with a knack for stretching a 20 second bit to five or ten minutes offends me. He robs me of money, by rendering my sirius comedy channels unlistenable. His death put a stop to the production of this trash. This pleases me.
I am glad there are so many retarded psychologists in his fanbase to offer diagnosis of my mental problems.

A breathtaking retort. You sure got me, as it is transparently obvious from my posts that I lack the capacity for nuance to comprehend this yokel's slurring first-grade humor/ How long did you and your uncle/dad work on that one? Have fun watching WWE, Socrates.
Intimidated by vocabulary common to anybody with a primary school education and a room temperature IQ? Why am I not surprised? I'll leave you to your fantasies of men putting things in their rectums. Google "one guy, one jar" for a treat.
@ermghoti Actually, no. I'm insulted by your assumption that I'm incapable of differentiating between needless pedantry and genuine intelligence. It's actually quite pathetic that it's taken you 39 years to amass what you assume to be an expansive vocabulary, when I've no doubt learned far more than you in 14 years less time.

it is sad that people have to be so cruel these days
if you don't appreciate something, keep it to your self
and if you do decide to be immature enough to tell how you don't like something, at least have the decency to respect those who do like it
and how could you even think of being happy about someone who has died?
imagine if someone you loved was dead and someone else was happy?
you need some help

The fact you are happy over his death because you don't like his brand of humor speaks more about you than it does about Mr. Clower.
If you don't get the humor, that's fine. If you don't enjoy his material, that's also fine. But being a dickhead is not.
I dread to see the kind of humor you find enjoyable.
