  • Holy crap, I just saw the picture of your Paul on the MyLesPaul forum. WOW! That is a beauty and the video just doesn't do it justice.

  • That 1st chord is the blues version of an A13.

  • I love your videos, excellent source of learning. It would be great if every now and then you could play some of those fast licks note by note a little slower so my brain can differenciate the sounds, but keep em' comming, because I love them!!

  • Thanks for your videos.Everytime you post a new video, it just makes my day. :)

  • Awesome!

  • Dan I'm enjoying your lessons and videos. What is the first main chord you're playing? An A7? I can't see if your fingers are in a E7 barre pattern; it looks kind of like you're playing on different strings

In future videos, could you have cammer zoomed in really close on your left hand, and on key parts, run through chord shapes single note runs, in slow motion, so to speak?

Thanks, keep up the vids, I love your rig

  • The first chord is sort of like the top half of an A7 barre chord and instead of your pinky being on G, it's on F#. So, you could also think of it as an F# minor chord with a G on the bottom, or even a Dmaj7 with a G instead of an A on the bottom. If that makes sense??? The other 2 chords are just D9 and E9.

  • When I comp chords in a blues band I usually only play the top 4 strings most....so the above only applies to the D thru high E strings.

  • @skydog46 or A6!
