  • I tell u

  • Nice, how about one on boa gens.

  • omg I have the same necklace as the girl at 1:23 !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how dumb

  • @leftocastpunkx83 Yes, what I meant was that by taking small dozes of the venom it could with future science be used as medicine. Yes, snakes are awesome.

  • what happens when you breed a albino corn with a crimson corn?

  • I'm kinda interested in snakes and have been trying to learn everything about them since I was 6 (6 years ago) and I have a question:

Is it true that the Gabon Viper's venom and some medical research can cure cancer? I have heard rumors about that lately.

  • @ZnakeLover I'm a high school teacher who has also been obsessed with snakes since a very young age and i think it's awesome that you are interested in these things. i'm not aware of gaboon viper venom being used to cure cancer but there are certainly tons of possible medical uses for snake venom. it's possible that we will find a cure for many things in snake venom. maybe it will be you to make the discovery! keep up the good work.

  • has anyone produced a bumblebee pied yet?

  • what do u get if u breed to normal balls together

  • i love ball pythons I have one it is soooooooo coolllllll

  • I just got my first snake last week at an expo i was never able 2 get one but when i came home my mom thought he was actually kind of cute...whats another good snake 2 get..i have a tangerine honduran milksnake!

  • How do snakes mate and lay eggs?

  • You said Pinstripe is co-dominant, but there is no super form, so it is just dominant. I think a lot of fellow breeders think co-dom means it produces half morphs and half normals. Others think that co-dom means two morphs in one animal. Neither has anything to do with it. Co-dom just means that the heterozygous form looks different from the normal AND the homozygous/super form. Mojave is co-dom since it looks different from the super form, but there's no "super pinstripe" so it is dominant.

  • This should be shown in classes that are studying genetics...This was easy to understand and trust me, snakes are a bit cooler than yellow or green peas!

  • You are so annoying. Quit posting on every video you dipshit.

  • well i took my paper and wrote those morphs down ;) you never know when it comes in handy ... i really like to own maybe breed a bumble bee that morph pushers my hot buttons . nice vid 5*

  • lol

  • you should write a book on genetics!!

  • I have a question about Ball Python genetics:

What would happen if you crossed a Pibald with a Panda Pibald?

  • i dont think it would make anythingnew it would probaly make more pieds and more pandas!! but good question!! lol :)

  • it would be piedbalds and black pastels het for pied.

  • Actually....

All resulting offspring will be Black Pastel Piebalds. :D

  • i had a genetics test in bio today and this video helped me ace it!

  • Thats sweet!!! Thanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)

  • would it be possible to make a genetic strip pied?

  • for sure, it would be a double recessive. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • @SnakeBytesTV this is not a reptile related ? but brian do u hav any indian in ur blood line somethin jus reminds me of it im chikawa

  • is it possible to make an axanthic pin pied? cause that would be freakin awesome, the two coolest morphs together

  • For sure, we're working on that now. Hopefully a year or two and we'll have one! Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • sweet!

  • do you guys at snakebytes ever use punnett squares?

  • I use the punnett square theory all the time. it's how I know what to breed to what and what the results should be. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • wats a punnet square

  • a diagram for determining morphs for snakes

  • has any body ever made a clown pied the 1 in 16

  • Yeah, there was one made this year. Really sweet looking animal! Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Thanks snakebytes for the info...peace

  • Anytime, thanks for watching! Brian(Sbtv)

  • gemme a spider and a pastel pez i new how to make a bumbble bee but i diddnt no how nice they look

  • So, would breeding a Piebald Ball to a Leucistic or Albino Ball create Piebalds with some white on their heads? (I'm quite muddled on genetics, as you can probably tell, lol)

    Sheryl

    "Scaly Tailz"

  • A Pied Leucistic would be all white and an albino pied would be white and yellow. So far there are no white headed Pieds expect for the Panda Pieds, which are super cinny pieds. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Why is it that Piebald Ball Pythons do not have any white on their heads?

    Thanks!

    Sheryl

    "Scaly Tailz"

  • Not sure, it's just the way that they are?? Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • They do have red pupils. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Yeah, you woud get Spinners too:) Thanks, brian(Sbtv)

  • wow cool vid i will try those morphs! im a "future breeder" i wanna make cool ball python morphs! cool ass vid and snakes and crew! i subscribed! 5*****! and this vid is under my favs!

  • We can't thank you enough for the rating, sub, and favorite! Thanks for liking the show! Brina(Sbtv)

  • Hey people when we gonna see some milksnakes

  • I'll make sure to get some in the show as soon as they're out of hybernation. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • how much are the piebald ball pythons? they look awesome

  • They go from $1500-$2000 depending on the amount of white. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • how much does a killer bee axanthic cost i might get one to breed

  • There haven't been any that have been sold yet, so I'm not sure what the cost would be. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey me again i was woudering if you can get a axanthic killer bee or show one they are awsome

  • can you tell me how to make a killer bee axanthic.

  • You need to breed a killer bee to an axanthic pastel to get a killer axanthic. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • i was gonna ask u to do a episode on genetics but u made one already cool.

  • I'll probably do more about this topic coming soon:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Yes, the first Pied was found in the wild and proved genetic by Pete Kahl about ten years ago. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • so how do you make a pinstripe ball? or how do you make spider out from normals?

  • Those are both dominant animals, which means you need one to make one. So you can't get them from breeding normals or a combo, sorry. Thanks for the question, Brian(Sbtv)

  • lol brian you gave chewy a nice ahrd question right on man lol. brain youthe bestest breeder i've ever seen keep up the good work!!!

oh and thw crew props to all of ya. lol chewy better luck next time

  • You need a Pied or a het to make Pieds. It's a recessive morph that you can only reproduce with the ingredients. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • That's one of the ways to get them. They go for about $3000. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • I have it all in my head, but I have notes for my crew when they help out. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • are spiders co-dom or dominant? And have there been lesser platty caramels?Just take random morphs and put 'em together, & you just might hit something good!!

  • For now Spiders are considered Dominant. There hasn't been a lesser x caramel yet. Good cross though. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey brian, i noticed that most of the mutated ball pythons have wider bellies. do all mutated balls have that wide belly character?

  • I think what you're seeing is that most mutations get fed a lot better them normals, so it appears to be that way. Hope this helps, Brian(SBtv)

  • so brian, what posible morphs could i get from breeding a normal?

  • are there any morphs you could produce with a bunch of normals? coz thats all i have here...=/

  • There's always a chance, but it's lot playing the lottery. If you're really lucky you might hit on something. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Hah, I got all of your questions right. (Cept for the hoggie question) Do I win a prize? ;)

  • You're prize is that you know more then most of my crew.lol THanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey brian, is there any chance i could produce any morphs out from a bunch of normals? coz its all i got here..

  • Hey Brian! will it take long for before that video of hatching ball pythons? Really looking forward to that...

  • OK that was amazing... er.. i got lost in all the names... anyways whats the most expensive snake you own?

  • I'm really not sure, there are several that are way up there:) Thanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)

  • How much are bumble bees

  • They go for about $1000-$1250. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • So if i breed a pastel and spider i will get a bumble bee?

  • yep!

  • its heterozygous

  • ey brian, Just want to ask about the "HET" thing in naming snakes...what does "HET" mean?

  • I know I'm not Brian but it means that the snake carries the gene but its not visably shown.

  • jungle pastels???? ore normal pastel x spider

    for bumble bee

  • whats a normal and a normal =? all normals? or is there somthing else i can get? Thanks!

  • Unless you get really lucky you'll just get normals. Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

  • how does someone go about working for you guys? or are you not hiring

  • We are always looking for good help. Let me know where and why you want to work for us and you never know??? Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

  • is jungle pastels the same as lemon pastels if not can you use a lemon pastel to make a bumblebee

  • You can make a Bumble bees with a lemon pastel. Lemons are a blood line of pastel jungle, some think it's the best bloodline, myself included. Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

  • I like the origin line, the graziani line. Lots of blushings! Put that in a spider and you get some sick looking bumblebees!

  • hey brian luv what u r doing and luv the show i want to breed for the first time do it matters on who have the genetics (ball pythons)

  • Thanks for the support on the show! It doesn't matter at all which animal has the genetics, it will pass from either sex. Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

  • awsome episode snakebytes has its hooks in me lol

  • THanks! I'm glad you like the show! We really appreciate you watching!! Brian(SBtv)

  • and when u get 50 50 with a resesive n a het, are the hets u get 100% het?

  • You'd get 100% hets only if one of the parents was the mutation. Het to het you'd get 66% hets. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • u say bumblebee is double co - dom, does does that mean when bred to a normal it wil be 50 50 like a co-dom and same with triple co dom?

  • Bumble Bees are a double co-dom, so you'd get 25% if bred to a normal. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Yep, you need to breed the two together in order to get a super form. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • ofofo srry i get it pastel pinstripe

  • and a spinner blast is spider and pastel

but you didnt tell withs 1 with ...

  • how to breed 1

  • Spinner Blast is a Pastel x Pinstripe x Spider. It's three morphs. Hope this helps, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • oke and killer bee is 3000 4000

  • im kindof confused on the piebald one so do you just breed a het for piebald to a piebald to get it?

  • Or you can breed two hets together. It's a recessive trait, so both parents have to be carrying the trait to get one. Hope this helps,Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • how much cost the bumble bee

  • I've heard over 1000.

  • Right about $1000. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • how do u get a pinstripe with out breeding to a normal

  • You need a pinstripe to get one. You can breed it to anything to get one, but you have to have it first. Hope this helps, Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • that doesnt help really....

  • What part doesn't help?? I guess simply put you have to buy one to have one. There's no other way. Let me know if you have any questions, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Your odds are that one in four eggs would be Pied. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • what would happen if you breed het albinos toghter??? would you get albinos

  • Same as the Pieds below, one in four should be albino. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • how do u make a piebald? it stopped when u sed its a piebald. i really want one

  • You need to have a Pied or hets to make Pieds. It's a recessive trait, so you need that trait to reproduce it. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • if pinstripe is co-dom is there a super form?

  • My bad, Pins are not co-dom, they are dom!! My mess up, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hey i really wanna piebald and i live in austrilia how do u think i could get it over here

  • As far as I know there is no way of importing snakes in to Australia. It's really too bad, I'd love to get some stuff from you guys:) Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • thats really gay but i will just get like a green tree python i really like them i dont care if there not good for pets i want one

  • could you breed a columbian red tail boa with a salmon boa. If so what kind of babies will you get.

  • Sure you could, you'd get half Salmons and half normal Boas. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • is there a super pie-bald?how does it look?

  • No Pieds are a reccessive morph, so there is no super form. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hey, i have a question... how do you tell the hets from a clutch!

    Alex from Hong Kong

  • You can't tell by looking at them. So you need to by from a reputable source. Wish there was a better way. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • lol did u ever get them leapord geo? message me please!

  • Haha, I'm still working on it:) I hope to get the group this summer????? Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • how do you produce the morph Ex Piebald(:) or Luesitic + bubble bee = ? What would that be called.

  • hey i love the show the snake that catches my eye the whole time is the piebald its just amazing do those sell at any petstores

  • Pieds are great animals! They are still a little too high price for pet shops?? Maybe in a couple more years?? Thanks for watching the show! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hi i love this cast it is so good thank you so much for putting it on youtube. i live in northern ireland and work in a exotic pet store and i would love to get some ball python morphs in but they are so expensive. but we have loads of cool stuff in to entertain me in the mean time till we get some morphs in. 5 stars for the cast!

  • Thanks for the support! We always appreciate the love from Ireland, we have a lot of great viewrs there! Herping most be great in Ireland!! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • i've got a question, my normal ballpython her belly turns pink right before she is going to shed her skin why is that?

many thanks from holland and keep up the great work!!!

  • Thanks for the support from Holland! It's totally normal for your snakes belly to turn pink just before it sheds. It's part of the secretion that they produce to help them remove their skin. Hope this helps, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Hi, When i bought my corn snake the man said its was a normal but is a heterozygous stripe can someone please tell me what this means thanks

  • It means that it's carrying the gene for stripe. If you breed to het stripes together one out of every four eggs will turn out to be a stripe corn. Hope this helps, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hey how do you make a pieball ball python

  • Pieds are a reccessive mutation, so you need to have one to make one. The original one was found in the wild in Ghana, Africa. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I am just makin sure I am correct two Fireballs makes a Black Eyed Leucistic

  • You're right on!!! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • thnx brah

  • It depends?? It could be as ong as a few weeks in some cases?? Thanks, Brian(SnakeBYtesTV)

  • Hey brian if i bred a lemon pastel to a albino what would I get.

  • You'd get half a clutch lemon Pastels het albino and have the clutch het Albinos. Thanks, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • LMFAO, that was hilarious !

"Colubrid guy doesn't know anything about Colubrids !"

    Hahaha :]

    Great video !

You really know your stuff on BP morphs !

  • Haha, I know Chewy messed up on this one:) He's actually really good about snakes, just not so much on genetics! Thanks for watching! Brian(snakeBytesTV)

  • Thanks!!! My crew is so good at genetics:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Do you brumate your western hognoses if so how do you do it.

  • We do brumate our hogs. We cool them down to about 50 degrees for three months. Message me if you have any questions about it. Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • How do you get the temps down to 50 degrees and keep them that way.

  • We live in a cold climate, so we have units that draw cold air in from outside until the room temp is 50 degrees. When I had a small collection in my basement I used to just open a window until it got cold enough and then I would open and shut it to keep the temps about right. Hope this helps, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • I live in southern california and it is pretty hot so how do you suggest I get the temps down.

  • Wow I am now fascinated with ball morphs and genetic stuff. great video

  • Haha, I know it can be addicting can't it:) Thanks for watching! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • Hey Brian .you got any good male spider balls for me?

  • Yeah, we have a few 07 Spiders Balls and I'll have new babies in the next couple of weeks. Let me know, Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • how much for spifer babies

  • Hey some people know genetics, and were cheated off of, and left out of the episode :P

    -Amelia(Trav)

  • man they say thast u learn something new every day, and thanx 2 this vid i learned a bunch of shit!

  • I'm glad you learned a few things. I'm always learning!!! Thanks for watching! Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • my brain just exploded!!!!!!

  • lol I know what you mean, I'm always right there with you:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • hey brian they never did say exactly how you make a pinstripe. so how do you make them without breeding pinstripe to another morph.

  • Pinstripe is a morph that you need to have a pin to make a pin. We imported them out of Africa about ten years ago. Hope this helps:) Brian(SnakeBytesTV)

  • ok thanks i was hoping to become a breeder in a few years so im trying to learn all i can before that you have been a great help

  • pinstripe is co-dominant, if you bred a pin to a normal 50 % of the offspring would be pins the other 50 % normals, in theory that is, you could end up with all pins or all normals.
