@metsdudenj Sharks do lay eggs...they're fish and ALL fish lay eggs.However, there are species of shark that hatch their eggs internally, sort of like a womb but there's no internal connection between the baby and the parent who carries them (in mammals that's the placenta).

In general, all animals except for mammals lay eggs that develop outside of the body, hope that helped :)

Rays, who are closely related to sharks, have similar eggsacks.

that description is wrong. ragged tooth sharks dont lay eggs. they are 'ovoviviparity'. meaning their babies hatch and grow in the mothers two uterus's for about 18 months.

Actually, humans are more closely related to Apes than Monkeys. In any event we are somewhat distinct from both monkeys and apes in that we are truly omnivorous. Monkeys diet's generally do not include meat.

Look at the spider monkey for example. "The diet of spider monkeys consists of about 90% fruits and nuts". The same could not be said for most humans.

It's not surprising that some monkeys eat meat, but as I said, it's not what immediately springs to mind.
