  • @rapcemetary123 There isnt just ONE way to bench. Jay Cutler rarely touches his chest. We train the way that we feel works best for us. I know guys who train with what you would 'impeccable form', but they don't necessarily make any decent gains.

  • Hi kid, all looking great, but you gotta stabilize body (in bechpressing etc.) by beeing stable in them legs! That is why powerlifting and lifting heavy weights is good. Try building a beautyfull house on a weak foundation, it will slip, be unstable and then crash, no good!

  • @scondore GreenPhazon is right, When you tuck your elbows and lower the bar to your upper abdomen, you put your shoulder joint in a much safer position to be pressing heavy weight.

    Also your using a thumb-less grip which is really dangerous, the weight can easily slide off your hands and your done. Just like that RB from USC.

    So just tuck your elbows, and lower the bar to your upper abdomen, and grip the bar with thumbs as well. Just cuz ur a teen bodybuilder doesn't mean you know every thing

  • @ChocolateFishMilk I've explained the a million times... But AGAIN, being 6 days out and depleating, I was preserving my rotator cuffs and not going nearly all the way down.. My regular training videos show otherwise.

  • @scondore As a competitor I understand this. But your form is horrid. You have no rotation when you come down. You're doing an up and down bench which is worse on the rotator cuffs because you're not allowing them to rotate! This is very typical though.

  • @MerkabaStar I don't care for rotation of dumbbell press. Just me. And frankly everyone critiquing my form on this video is wayyy over looking this entire vid. The intensity of the last 3 days before a show should be pretty much equal to back-stage pump.. This is not an actual workout, nor is it my typical form which you can see in my recent, real training vids.

  • @scondore I'm talking about Barbell. And it's not about what you care about. It's what optimal for your shoulders and peak pectoral contraction. This is why people can't understand that there is no such thing as upper and lower chest, i.e. incline and decline. Granted it's an old vid, you might have gotten better, etc. In any event I don't see why you would do improper movement regardless of the goal. It's ok, neither you nor I are perfect. Just offering shoulder protecting insight.

He must be seeing progess by doing that workout becuase of he didnt he would of stopped i bet. and when u drop the barbell all the way doing to ur chest your extending your shoulders to much and more muscle will come in when you really only want the main muscle of a bench press, chest to do all the work.

I say this because yes you are correct when sayin record lifters(not nick wright) lower the weight slow for that reason but then go look at bodybuilders(nick wright) and then dont worry about slowly lowering the weight. and if you dont believe just go look at vids of Branch Warrens. So you shouldnt be calling others stupid when what i said was correct(speakin as a bodybuilder), and try to help others with there mistakes.
