  • hi im lookin to do my mod1 and it says you can use your own bike could i use a road legal pit bike 125cc or not thanks andy

  • @andywilliams67 Any bike that's road taxed, MOTed with valid insurance will work.

  • Passed my Mod 1 this morning second attempt. I advise a lot of practice and try to do figure of 8 as tight as possible. The balanced use of clutch, throttle and rear break is very important. The examiner looks out for that. Staying cool is very important. I passed mine in kirkham where the circuit is fairly narrow than some of the clips I've seen. I got three minors one for not riding at walking space in the slow ride, one for going too wide in the figure of eight and one for being at 48kmph fo

  • do you know how wide the cones are so i could practice the slow maneuvres

  • I've got my mod 1 tomorrow! Bricking it but should be okay :)

  • my two years restriction is up soon, cant wait! I hated the tests, so easy to fail.

I ride similar to what you did in the video, FZ6N s2 2008.

I have read that they are changing all the test and restriction laws soon, not sure what to or when but I hope its made more reasonable for learners.

  • This has been a big confidence boost to me, thank you. I've got my mod 1 coming up and I was really worried about figure of 8, but I didn't realise the test center gave you that much room, or that you could go around the last yellow cone, that's great. All I have to work on now is not locking my back wheel on controlled stop. Must not panic..

  • im shitting myselffr my mod 1 and 2. i can ride bike wel and safely, just that when im being etsted, i get nervous and slip up, silly mistakes that would never happen to me.

  • Thanks for the video!!!

  • MOD 1 the figure of 8 & slalom the cones are so wide apart you could get a bus to do a slalom.

U-turn, it's like doing a U-tun on the Motorway the distance is so big it would be harder to not do it.

These are the things people worry the most with.

Speed test 2nd gear snap the throttle back = pass on that part.

slow speed, Rear Brake + slipping the clutch couldn't be easier.

it's harder to breath than it is to fail MOD1.g

go in full of confidence come out with a certificate.

  • Have mine this wens, i pref using my front brake slightly when doing walking distance is that bad?

  • @gibbokpl yes. You ideally want to use the rear brake which is also called the "controlling brake". At low speeds or going around a corner using the front brake is said to increase your chance of dropping off.

  • @187Premises Yeah i don't touch the front brake around corners but it's a smaller bike similar to the yamaha kinda hard to drop.

I did pass Mod 1 though, with no minors.

    Scored avoidance test speed 51KM

And emergency stop 50KM Kind of lucky i suppose ;)

  • I passed my Mod 1 test today. YEAH!

  • @gwl1983 You da man dawg!

  • I've got my Mod 1 test tomorrow morning. I'm really nervous!

  • @gwl1983 All the best my friend!

  • @187Premises I failed I put my foot down on the U-Turn. Oh well never mind I'm doing it again in 10 days. I need to relax I was way too nervous today which messed me up.

  • @gwl1983 Sorry to hear it. Even I failed the first time when my size 11 boot managed to punt the cone on the avoidance. You'll score it next time!

  • @187Premises i went for mine today and failed cos i knocked the cone over on the avoidance as well :) awaiting a resit date again

  • @gwl1983 good luck dude I hope you pass as I have mine monday morning at 11:30

  • @CR125MANIAC Thanks mate but I failed. I put my foot down on the U-Turn which is a major fault. Good luck with your test try to relax and enjoy it. You'll do better if you're having fun with it.

  • @gwl1983 ah unlucky dude good luck for next time I hope i pass mine im not nervous I just wanna get out on my gsxr 600 its been sat there staring at me saying ride me for a week haha

  • @CR125MANIAC Hey mate how'd your test go today?

  • @gwl1983 Hey buddy I passed with no minors :D

  • @CR125MANIAC Haha well done dude

  • Do you have to use there bikes or can you use your own ?

  • hey man, was the module 2 any hard?

  • Thanks booking my cbt now and then ill do the theory and A2 as soon as possible

  • @Gamer7511 Best of luck with it mate!

  • Nice video. You sure are lucky that you are in Britain, in Belgium there rules are much more strict. the lines are narrower, you have to be between specific areas for the entire exam, and the slow ride is 15meters in under 10 seconds.

    Damn the Belgian government

  • Omg we can see your face!

  • Great video, doing this soon, been riding for 2 years so Im going at it without any lessons. I know exactly what the examiners are looking for with all the checks so should be fine. My mate was really worried about his mod 1 but he said it was over in 10 minutes, nothing to worry about.

  • ey bin aus hamburg

  • brilliant video...this was a big help to me

  • Brilliant video, exactly what you want to know

  • shit i just failed the mod 1 on the fucking u turn i was to scare to fail shiit and after i did it for the fun and i done it easyly i dont no why

  • This video has been so useful. I passed my module 1 today and I just want to say thanks for uploading this. I recommend wearing strong boots as the guy before me failed because he had trainers on.

  • @learnguitarinlondon Well done on the pass! Many thanks for the boots advice. I will add it to the video comments.

  • @learnguitarinlondon what do you mean when you say boots? i wear steel toe caps? will that be ok??

  • @versionintegrale Any tough looking boots would be fine, they don't have to be steelies. I imagine some steel toes would actually make it difficult to shift gears effectively.

  • @versionintegrale I don't even think you're allowed to wear steel toe-capped boots. Regs say you have to wear motorcycle boots; but I think as long as they look like motorcycle boots and not trainers, you'll be fine.

Kinda contradictory I know; but, only tryin' to help.

If you're doing your Mod 1/Mod 2 through a training school, could always borrow some boots off them. I did.

Just kinda, throwin' it out there.

  • @learnguitarinlondon WTF???? That's not a legal requirement to ride!

  • @Hornet0biker I agree, but I can confirm this is true.

  • I passed my CBT a couple of months ago and I have got a bit of money to go for my full licence. However, my instructer said he was suprised how good I was riding on the road after a dreadfull morning doing manuvers. I really do suck doing manuvers and worry that module 1 might hold me back. I just wanted to know how long or how many lessons practice do you get before you go for module 1 and do you think someone who wasnt great at manuvers in their CBT will be okay after more practice?

  • @TULLYtheHOST I done my module 1 on my own bike and the test was 17.50 which isn't as much as i thought it would be, therefore if you are to fail then it isn't the end of the world :) The training for Module 1 is very useful too and helped me a lot.

  • @TULLYtheHOST I passed my mod 1 in December 2011 and you can take as much training as you need. If the riding school you use are sensible they won't book your test until you are ready. I was nervous about low speed manouvers too, especially the u-turn but I was allowed 15 minutes training at the training school ground on my own just to do 5 or 6 u-turns before going to the test centre. Remember you only need to do each task once. 10 minutes of calm riding = a pass. Good luck.

  • got my mod 1 on sunday training is saturday wish me luck

  • passed my mod 1 yesterday:)) 0 minors!

thanx for the vid helped alot!

  • Got mine for next monday in bedford, shitting it.......

  • Cool, thanks. Passed my Mod 1 yesterday. One minor fault: 48 km/h on the swerve avoidance.

  • Did you get a minor for trying to pull away in neutral before the slalom?

  • @Tomakak Nope. Perhaps if the examiner wanted to be a total arsehole. But the important thing was that I re-did my checks.

  • A really helpful video! Thanks for uploading. :-)

  • Good video massive help got my mod 1 training next week ...nice little head start to know what to expect ......THANKS

  • Got mine 2moro fingers crossed i pass!

  • IS this the CBT then? Or full bike test? Also what bike was that?

  • did you know that you have broken copy right law and you could be fined for filiming an actual test if the dsa find you have this then the will take action i already know of one person who was fined 3,000 for just recording audio of a test just so you know

  • Interesting to watch this - I did my Mod1 in July this year and the ordering is a little different now. Seems crazy to do the hazard avoidance before the slow manoeuvre, so it's much better now. Also got told the story of someone on their Mod1 who had no faults/observations but got off the bike and through sheer adrenaline forgot to put the kick stand down and dropped the bike and failed, lol

  • it helped me get a idea of things but you are best off getting the training

  • This really helped. Thankyou so much. Passed first time:) Harry

  • Great Video, but i have 2 questions. Do you have to bring your own bike? and if I pass the test on my yamaha 125 will I be able to ride a 250cc ( under 33Bhp ) ? I already have a cbt

  • @aSlightComa Yes you need your own bike. Because I did my test via a training school they had bikes for hire.

  • They dont allow you a 2nd attempt on the emergency stop since May. Other changes include the order (slow ones first and fast is last). Also 2 red cones removed to allow you to pick your line and stop at blue cones rather than "in the box".

  • Would anybody be interested in gathering at WD6 1RX to practice with some road cones? have large car park....

  • The mod 1 changed in may 10. Now allowed 5% varience so you can pass at 48 kph. I scored 47kph so failed (twice) on the speed part. Gutted. Despite what anybody says, it is a difficult thing to do if you are 15 stone on a 125 cc. I even emptied the fuel tank right down....

  • Ha ! I Used to be a Star Rider instructor - interesting how it has changed - here in NZ you can ride ANY 250 at 16! Even a 60Hp KR1S !

  • THANKS Prem!! - I watched this vid 3 or 4 times over before my mod 1 & passed it with a clean slate!! - This really helped :)

  • hey fella great vids ,im doin my mod 1 and mod 2 on the same day ! cant wait to get out there . keep up the good work with your cam stuff its keeping it real !!!!

  • Got my mod 1 and mod 2 both on 31st of this month and 2 days training before... I'm sure this video will help a lot... Thanks bro =]

  • (continued).. I apologise for my comments. It does seem like you wouldn't want to knowingly put anyone in danger. Concerning parks, can we agree to disagree? If you were to unblock me I would consider that a friendly gesture. Cheers and good luck on the roads (even the best riders need it).

  • @jubjubbird100 Hey @Jabberwock359 your unblocked mate. Disagreement agreed. :)

  • This is a really useful and well filmed video. Thanks to 187Premises for making what must be a great aid to people wanting to pass the bike test. I took mine in about 1979 when part of it consisted of the examiner stepping out between parked cars ('quiet' side-street) to create a surprise emergency stop....! Things have moved on a bit.

Now - to come clean Premises, I am also Jabberwock359, the one you blocked because I disagreed with part of your 'being Premises' video. For my part (continued)..

  • I believe you have to have to pass both parts on the same size bike!.

I passed mod 2 yesterday, took my camera as i was going to record it and load to you tube, but the examiner said no i couldn't do that. Shame

Now onto tyre kicking till i got some spare cash

  • If i pass my mod 1 on a 125 then pass my mod 2 on a larger bike (for direct access) can i jump straight on a 34+ bhp motocycle or do you have to pass both parts on a bigger bike to qualify for direct access? cheers

  • @viosis You must pass both parts on either a big or small bike. Your Mod1 certificate will say what bike you passed on and the examiner will check it before the test. All the best!

  • awesome video, couple of tips, when you arrive at the test centre, park your bike in the parking bay facing out so your can ride out rather then having to move it like in the test,

shoulder/life saver checks like in the video.

    TURN your mobile off!

    take your high vis jacket,

    RELAX!!

I did 54kph on my honda xr 125 both times. :))

  • @R5P205 Very good tips!

  • Just wanted to say thanks very much for the upload! Passed Mod 1 second time round, and finally passed mod 2!

  • Passed my full unrestricted license, got myself yamaha fazer 600cc :) I wish the best of luck for everyone who's going for their full license. Just a small advice: if ur 21 or over go for direct access, don't waste ur time with 125cc :)

  • I did my mod 1 the other day, just my luck it was raining however i was able to pass quite comfortably and did both highspeed parts first time...i was done with in 10-15mins max...i did it on a 500 otherwise id be restricted for 2 years, and i recommend this for other people too as i was told you dont need to go into 3rd just open that baby up in 2nd...i did 57KPH on Avoidance and 60KPH on Emergency stop, lol the examiner called me a lunatic...you see with a 125 you have really work them hard.

  • Cheers i passed without any lessons having only seen this as a guide.....amazing!

  • Nice video mate, It's a great resource for a learner (like myself)

  • Wish I had seen this vid before doing my mod 1 today.. would have given me a better idea of what to expect... failed after knocking a cone over on the avoidance!! Instructor told me we would get 2 attempts if not at correct speed, but didn't say anything about cones!! gutted... thanks for the vid..

  • @oceazz I did the same as you & ive put it down to bad luck, i must have hit the cone by a fag paper! i was so pissed off, cause everything else was perfect.

  • what are the new changes to the module?

  • Just a warning, in my test centre I failed first time for being too slow for the emergency brake, and they wouldn't let me re do the emergency brake, check with your test centre first! Good video :D

  • Got mine on the 14th,just booked the test no training, been riding a 125 for a year now, think it will be a problem?

  • What bike are you riding?

  • Brilliant vid deffo helped me pass the test :)

  • Thanks!! This has helped ease some nerves, I have my Mod one on 8th Aug.

  • Do you still have to do the observations immediately *after* the high-speed manoeuvres? I was never told that by my instructor or the examiner.

  • Hi i'm 16 February and i was wondering would my Suzuki TS50x be eligible for this test cause it is road legal

  • odd question I know but I have failed the speed factor of this test twice and wondered what advice people might have as to what gear to use etc, I'm riding a 92 Honda mtx 125 if it makes any difference and I'm a sizable chap LOL

  • @DJORYAN1 When did you take that test? The recent changes to the test made it so that going too slow on the high speed manouvers = only 1 minor.

  • @187Premises I took the test just a few weeks back and I was around 5 or 6 mph too slow on both attempts but would have passed apart from that

  • @187Premises I took the test only a few weeks ago and have it rebooked for his sunday (31st July) and really don't want to fail for the same reason again and I was apparently around 5 or 6 mph to slow on both attempts

  • Comment removed

  • @DJORYAN1 I took my test today, being a big chap on a 125cc i could not get up to the 50kph.I still passed at 49kph on both the emergency stop and avoidance. There is new guidance and they give a bit of leeway.

  • @DJORYAN1 the advice i was given was to leave it in second and bounce it off the rev limiter. and don't roll off like i did :P and all should be fine :)

  • @DJORYAN1 Rev the shit out off it in 2nd gear and it should pretty much redline on 32mph lol thats how i done it on my 125

  • nice vid cheers mate..well done

  • Great riding and vid. Is the whole of module 1?

  • excellent video mate, just passed my mod 1 and i would definatly say this helped me.

subbed your channel as i think i could learn from you.

    peace from scotland bro

  • Good video! Thanks for sharing it.

  • With reference to you Mode 1 bike test Video.

I pass my Mode 1 yesterday using your video and tips.

Not bring able to afford Bike lessons beforehand, the was no way I could train beforehand.

The test has changed I bit in Wales, I still had to do 32mph to pass.

Many thanks for you trouble, keep up the Videos.

    John

  • Forgot my theory test past certificate on my first Mod 1, then, on my second attempt a few months later (with a different school) the instructor told my photo had expired on my car licence!!!! So i couldn't do any riding with him or an exam £150 down the drain. More time to watch this video though i suppose - thanks for posting!!!!

  • This has changed now. Slow speed stuff 1st then the high speed stuff last. its over very quick and not hard. Nervs play a big part i think. Passed my mod 1 early june and then mod 2 late june both 1st time . I watched loads of these vids they hepled i think. Got a say i didnt know i passed until i got back into the test centre building both on mod 1 and mod 2. Now i ride a 600 bandit having fun if the sun would come out. Good vid.

  • big up for uploading this.. watched iy aobut 5 times and passed today! :)

  • Thanks for uploading this! Passed today with 3 minor faults. Dont worry to much about reaching 50kph, i didnt manage it and got 1 fault.

  • They no longer ask you to ride behind the examiners hand for the slow ride. He watches from behind so you just need to ride as slow as you possibly can.

  • Great!

  • passed my mod 1 today, no faults. easier than i thought

  • Done my mod 1 today and passed,ur video was a really big help. Now for mod 2 cheers.

  • had my mod 1 test this morning (sat) to free it all up so they say.

Passed, 4 minors but its a pass, the other lad with me failed his third attempt fealt gutted for him.

    Onto mod 2

  • It's stupid that the test is the same for 125s as it is for 500+cc bikes. You have to absolutely nail it out of that bend, in what situation would you accelerate up to a hazard?

My advice; stick it in second before you turn and pin it out of the corner.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I'm going to take Module 1 test shortly in the Summer, so I'm pretty sure this video will prove very useful to me.

  • The test is not a simple formaility. I have failed it twice, on both occasions not going fast enough through the grid on my 125. Test would probably be easier on a 500cc

  • The test is not a simple formaility. I have failed it twice, on both occasions not going fast enough through the grid on my 125. Test would probably be easier on a 500cc!

  • Comment removed

  • @bmann008 either go through the corner in 3rd gear dont shift up just pin it OR do what i did and corner at 25/30 shift in to 4th as you exit and then pin it ..............im not a small bloke (6ft1 14ST) did this on a chinese comutor 125 so ANY bike should be able to do it and good luck XD

  • Passed MOD 1 today without any faults,be polite, kiss ass like crazy. I even forgot to swerve on the hazard avoidance but he said because I completely forgot to even try swerving he said it must have been a mis-communication on his part and allowed me to try again :/

  • @djpageyboi haha yeah i thought kissing ass was very important

  • took my module 2 yesterday, failed. got 2 serious faults and 1 dangerous, 2 serious, was road posititoning, i been doing them over and over again, but yesterday, think nervs took over, got it 6.7.11 so fingers crossed and stay calm. if your going left, get left, going right get right, going straight stay where u are.

  • Uxbridge don't allow you to go round the white cone, I don't see why not though, as you are allowed to go as wide on the last blue cone why not on the first.

  • I'm making a blog, going through the entire bike riding learning process as I do it myself if anyone is interested. I've already covered theory, cbt and MOD1. Feel free to ask any questions!

    russellbiker(dot)blogspot(dot)com

    Thanks!

  • Thank you for uploading!

  • Hi mate Just thought I would a comment , this is without the most helpful thing on the web , straight forward , im 29 and have my mod 1 test on tuesday , a big thanks for this video pal

  • @ theschuminator

I had no problems passed mod 1 and 2 first time with only the cbt training and watching vids like this on e bay. I used to ride as a youngster so i could handel a bike i just needed to know what the dsa wanted to see. I bought a book off e bay for the theory test, then passed no probs. i bought a cg 125, booked mod 1 test and passed with no faults. booked mod 2 and passed with 2 minors. It all cost me under £130. I sold the cg and made £80 profit. How jammy am i ? Happy days

  • doing my mod 1 next friday :/

  • im in london aswell and i should be takeing my theory and mod 1 within the next 2 months and was wondering what test station that was in i think my closest one is croydon but they seemed nice there ?

  • @Tsuk94 Mate you cant do module 1 at croydon. They have problems with the site.

  • Passed my Mod 1 today :)))) got my mod 2 on 27th of june :)

  • I hate all this bullshit. When the fuck do you have to do a slalom on the road? I can see me failing this by doing 1mph under the REGULATED SPEED ALLOWANCE and having to ride around on my YBR which is a worthless piece of human excrement for another month or so because they closed 98% of the test centres to fund bankers bonuses and MP's expenses instead of getting a CBR - so, in advance, fuck you DSA. But nice video, I'm sure it'll help.

  • @boredvesuvian Good rant! Also very true.

  • @boredvesuvian good rant, im in the same boat, i solded my ybr 125 and bought a sv 650s but carnt ride it leagally yet. im doin lessons and goin to book my mod1 test but i have to travvel to do that then travel the oppisite direction to do the mod2!!! pisstakers!!

  • Its not about having to do slaloms on the road its about demonstrating you can handle a bike. If you can handle a bike in quite difficult, close quarter manoeuvres it tells the instructor that you will be able to control the bike very well in easier situations. Clutch control, observations, slow riding, emergency stop, u-turn and having the strength to wheel the bike are all especially relevant to road riding. Boredvesuvian is obviously very ignorant!

  • Comment removed

  • @Perky0101 Snore.

  • @boredvesuvian i passed on a ybr, stick it in 2nd gear and red line the sh*t out of it. did 52kph both times. also easier to slow down.

  • @boredvesuvian i took my mod 1 literally just the other day and the good news is that, say for example in this video he goes you need to do 50KPH but now you can pass with 48KPH, however he still said you need to meet the required speed of 48KPH which i believe would give you a minor but not fail, unless under 48KPH. another slight alteration is on the slow ride part, he walks behind you now instead of infront....the examiner guy said that the police and DSA encourage bikers, but the DVLA dont

  • He's got the dogs teeth in.

  • Did you get any minor on this or was it flawless?

  • I passed today, thanks Steven for uploading this video it was extremely helpful. I think I was at the same test centre as you, Erith? Bring on Module 2!

  • Passed Mod 1 today. (1st time, no minors.) this vid certainly helped. Big thank you.

  • Thanks for the upload, i have my test tomorrow and seeing it from a riders perspective is very helpfull, thanks again.

  • this helped me pass my mod 1 last october mate, so thanks for that, now a proud owner of a suzuki gsxf 750. nearly fucked up the figure of eight due to nearly putting a foot down, but i aced the rest. cheers mate.

  • Thanks for uploading this. I have my Module 1 & 2 on 2nd June. Wish me luck!!!

  • @JF90 All the best my friend!

  • @187Premises Thanks for the great video, Passed Module 1 today and was honestly bricking it in the waiting room as I was watching others before me and both failed and they had instructors there. Doing module 2 in 2 weeks so hopefully all goes well

  • @mcgoof12345 well done mate, I've past my mod 1 today as well :) doing mod 2 in two weeks :) good luck

  • @djbear777 Im doing mine in two weeks aswell! not doing it in farnborough are you? best of luck with mod 2

  • @JF90 goodluck mate, i have mine on the 27th June. I have to travel like 90miles to the test centre... really didn't think this test out before they rolled it out.

  • @JF90 how can you have them both on the same day? if you fail mod1 you carnt do mod2 :s. anyways did you pass mate?

  • Good vid . I got my mod 1 on thursday. Looking forward to it. Cheers for the post.

  • passed my mod 1 today, thanks for the vid it reli helped :)

  • Great Video! wish I had found it before. I have failed 3 times at MOD 1 in poole. I am thinking of taking my own bike now instead of using my instructors! I was thinking of giving up lol!!! But Im gonna give it another go as soon as I can. Maybe I shpould of tried it all on a 125 instead of a 600???? Help me???????????????? need advice xx Katster x

  • @24KATSTER Honestly if you failed 3 times with instructors and then you consider this video to be great advice, then I think your instructors sucked! Your instructors should of taught you everything in this video. You will maybe find it easier on a 125 because their lighter and a lot more maneuverable. Remember if you do an A2 restricted test on a 125 you will be restricted to 33bhp bikes for 2 years... it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

  • @24KATSTER Its harder on a 125. No weight behind the bike, plus harder to get to 31mph!

  • @jamesf348 if your already doing 20mph on the bend then how hard can it be to add an extra 10mph for the speed trap?

Lighter bikes are better for manoeuvres like the Mod1 has... take a look at an MX riders bike. They are lighter than most road going 125's for a reason.

  • @187Premises personal preference. In my opinion, a heavier bike is easier to use. Im a big lad. You dont have to do 20mph on the turn. As for your video on your channel, how you didnt pull that driver out that blue car is beyond me.

  • Thanks for posting, I have both mod 1 and 2 on Wednesday 1 June really helped me.

  • Just passed my mod 2 also. Thanks to you tube I took no lessons and saved myself about 300 quid

  • @MegaNashy1 how did u find having no lessons mate?

  • How polite are you?? You called him sir. Good job, i take my CBT tomorrow, this has some great tips for me.

  • hi, took my module 1 last thursday, passed with 1 fault, my emergency stopping was a little slow, went through at 50kpm, but i passed. got my module 2 15th june, a little scared, but just stay calm, look over shoulders and look in mirrors, my main worry is hittting 60 mph.

  • Well done mate on passing. I'm going for mine in a few months. Ride on!

  • watched this video a lot before I took my Mod 1 and it gave me a very good idea as to what was required so many thanks for posting it... actually locked the wheels a bit and skidded on the emergency, but was told after as I had controlled it, and it was just a minor, so if you skid doing the emergency, don't panic and freeze up, you can still rescue the situation and don't presume you have failed! The swerve isn't bad at all, so don't worry about it.

  • this is the best video i found for an insight into the mod 1 test. I watched it about 30 times as i am training for my full licence on my own, anyway i did my mod 1 test this morning (mon 16th may) and guess what the dsa have now changed it. It basically the same but in a different order, you get a practice at the high speed bend and speed trap and for the slow ride the examiner now walks behind you. A big thanks to premises for posting this great video, by the way i passed with no minors

  • Hello, Have you posted Mod 2 test up yet? If so can you send me the link please?

  • Thanks, your video really helped me pass my test yesterday. I was under immense pressure as my theory test expires on Monday and I had booked both my Mod 1 and 2 on Friday 13th of May. Mod 1 clean sheet Mod 2 three minors. Achieving speed on hazard avoidance was tricky on my CG. So for those who don’t have access to Mod 1 circuit and using 125, remember 2nd gear, good carry around speed, don’t look at bend(ground), look where you need to go, and then let it scream. Finally plan ahead not like me

  • great video! well done, but you were right about the speed being off !!!

  • Great video! I passed my Mod 1 today but failed Mod 2 :-( but will try again on 3rd June!

  • In two weeks, I'll be going for the motorcycle license. I live in Belgium, but from the looks of it, the module look nearly, if not entirely, identical. So this is a big help, thanks for uploading this. :)

  • if you passed your test.....you are suppose to stay within the blue cones on the figure of 8.....its the rules....the instucter must be an idiot.....

  • @scummy51 "within" only means you need to pass between them to make the figure 8. It does not specify how far away you can go. My motorcycle training school teacher of 15 years said it's fine and the official DVLA examiner here said it was fine. Who should I listen to, the pro's or some random guy on the internet? I am aware that some test centres do not allow it and I have clearly highlighted that in my video notes.

  • passed my module 1 on thursday, this video helped me alot it shows you just what to expect. great video thank you very much for posting it.
