yeah, well I had Norton internet security free trial then and it worked ok but stopped every 2-3 mins or crushed then I buyed kaspersky and it dosent let me play I install it but it dont let me play.
Try posting your problem on a message board on the sims or ea websites. When mine broke it was eventually fixed by somebody on a forum who told me to install a new driver. I can't remember which one it was though, sorry.
But never mind, only a few months until sims 3 comes out :D
The Sims 2 is at its best on PC. The ones for PS2, GC, XBox,etc are super lame.
