Love Philippe's roast beef sandwich downtown. Didn't know you could get to Escondido via rail. Nice memories--last took the Surfliner to Del Mar back in 1999. Just saw a story about a murder at my old Hollywood & Vine Metro station. You'd think the "W" hotel would've given the hood more respectability. Some things never change. And don't knock that hippie nude beach in Summerland. I guess some things do change.
