Pollution control is actually linked to individual rights not collective, as the governmental platform would argue from. The individual should have the god given chance to have a "non"toxic environment to interact in. But he/she must have intelligent/less selfish forebears! Basically pollution is bad! But Global warming/climate change as some idiots have bought onto, is nothing more than appeasing the climate "gods" through taxation...When the frequency of solar cycles is not thrown in! Damn!

I don't think it actually matters if man-made carbon emissions are melting the ice. What is true in any case is that we ARE destroying our "only home" for quick profits.  Deforestation, mountain-topping, etc.

We can do better. We can do better and people can still make money. We have the technology and the "huge brain" to actually do better.

Something to think about..It's like falling dominos. Our carbon emissions have been melting the permafrost, which has kept all the organic debris underneith it from decomposing, now that it's started to decompos it's like a runaway train. one thing effects another and another and so on..

the discussion whether the changes in the climate are man-made or not is actually not relevant. fact is: we only have one planet, if it is destroyed we have no spare. so we better take care of our 'only home'. we cannot even risk losing it!
