I'm from Guatemala, and it's always an honor for our country to play versus the USA. Most back home don't respect the USA in Guatemala, but I do. I feel bad for all the bad comments torward us, but it's always gonna be that way, thank you Landon for today!!!!

I live in Guatemala, and I'm embarrassed to see that but it's reality. There is a community that is fan of the USMNT (including myself) but showing up on these matches almost mean getting out hurt, so we try show it other ways.

usa had a bad game but the good teams find a way to win and the bad teams (guatemala) find a way to lose.

Guatemala played one of their better games because usually they play horrible. they created good chances but in the end the ref decided the game. he didnt call alot of things which was guatemalas downfall. im from guatemala and i hope we make it to the work up this time.

your players didnt capatilize dont blame the refs man because thats a bitch move. Just admit you got beat and its only going to get harder for them when they come to the states to play. I see USA and T&T moving on but good luck to you.

we need to fire Bob Bradley. I like the guy but he just doesnt take risks. we need a coach who will push the ball forward and not just pass back and defend.

Central America is just about the most intimidating place you could play.

Did you see the game? Guatemala were out for blood. Brazil would have been rattled in a game like that.

the US had never beaten Guatemala in Guatemala before...the field quality sucks and we are used to good fields, where the Guatemalans get to practice on that junk so they are more used to it.

Well its tough to play as visitors, and the US has not won in guatemala since the 80s. Plus, sloppy field conditions due to the rain made it easy to just defend the single goal, especially playing 10 men aside
