If the message had turned out to be about puppy love for example, they may have liked it. Christianity is seen by some liberals as "holier than thou" folks telling them what to do, or as political opponents. I find it odd that many of them also support Islam, party line loyalty, even though Islam is infinitely more oppressive in society than church people.

@elainecleo Some people intensely dislike Christianity, so they dislike it at the end, even though perhaps liking it up to that point. If the message had turned out to be about puppy love for example, they may have liked it. Christianity is seen by some liberals as "holier than thou" folks telling them what to do, or as political opponents. I find it odd that many of them also support Islam, party line loyalty, even though Islam is infinitely more oppressive in society than church people.

@utc184, Pol Pot, Stalin, and Mao all established Cults of Personality centered on themselves and/or the State. ALL cults are, BY DEFINITION, religions.
