This movie was shot in 1994 and Ram-Man ( 00:14 ) was released in 1983. The kid is 9 years old so he was born in 1985. I think that he bought him when the line was already sinked and in 1994 he still plays with a toy from another era?

This kid has really good tastes and, of course, MOTU is an immortal line!

When I was a child, my Ram Man was with all the MOTU in the same blue basket, now they all are displayed in a wonderful Detolf.

Imagine all the MOTU in that special cupboard!

I used to think this would be cool if it could really happen. The first thing I thought about after walking out of the theater (since I was only 12 at the time) was putting my G.I. Joe jet- the Ghost Striker X-13- with fighter pilot Ace in a cupboard and making both him and it real. I imagined letting him fly it around outside- as long as he did not try to escape. Now that I am a fully grown adult who is way too old for toys- I just do not feel any interest in a story about toys coming to life.

However- I did become a huge fan of the book series for "Indian In the Cupboard" not too long after seeing the movie at the theater. I had all four of them and read them a few times. I always thought the first book was definitely better than the movie. I used to wonder why no movies were made based off of the seqeuls- but now I guess that was intended with Little Bear not letting Omri make the Indian woman real to be his wife.
