perceptive comment there -- every "Futurama" viewing had me wondering where that voice characterization came from, and I always thought "there's a bit of Georgie Jessel in that voice, but who is that other piece of the puzzle?" ... thanks for finding that piece ... try to find an early 60s comedy album called "You Don't Have to be Jewish" which has a great cast including Jacobi ... lots of great skits on it

Canadian born Lou Jacobi (Dec.28. 1913) was a great character actor and a wonderful human being. Sadly, he died on October 23,2009.
