Metroid Prime Speed Run 100% 1h 28min! Part 1 out of 21

i have to admit the double bomb jump around those computers were impressive. I felt the scan dash was a tiny bit useless considering you have to waste your time turning around anyway. By the way this sin't 100% considering that you missed the computer and parasite scan. My best actual 100% run was 2:38. When not getting 100% scans and just getting pick ups, which i assume your doing, my time was 1:20

I know most people might not like this idea, but I think it would be cool to see Samus games that don't deal with metroids. I mean, yes, the series centers around them, but they are all destroyed now, right? I want to see a game where Samus does what she does: bounty hunting. I want to travel across the universe completing various alien-destroying missions. It could be like an RPG, even. Imagine going to planets and space stations, interacting with local alien societies, buying upgrades, etc.

I unwisely sold it to a local game shop hoping for some cash, but got POINTS instead. So I got Tetris and Metroid 2 for my Game Boy. SO not worth it!

Whether the fan-boys like it or not, the new Metroid games aren't spin-offs, most definitely not outside the Metroid universe, and most certainly key, important parts of the story.

Metroid Prime is the best spin-off I know. The gameplay is totally different from the original series, but we still feel the Metroid universe. And the story is between Metroid 1 and 2, what is good, because it's not out of the story.

If I was a developer, I'd make a new spin-off named Bounty Hunter, which would be totally apart from Metroid series. It would show Samus in her adventures as a bounty hunter, each game would show different missions and villains. I'd make it in 3D platform.

@BrunoSan1986 The Metroid Prime series isn't a spin off. A spin-off would be a game where you play as a federation marine. The Prime series however is a part of the main Metroid story line, it features Samus as the main character, she is the person you play as in the main game.

i remember watching Radix's speedrun way back when... now that was legendary since it was one of the first speed runs for this game. i mimicked his entire run and managed to finish in 4 hours lmao

@jayz098 Yeah i too remember that I tried my hardest to emulate his run and I still remember how long it took for me to do the jumps to get to the ice gun thing as well as how long it took me to get to the spot for space jump in the beginning. That was like the best classic Metroid Prime video ever.
