  • @oghtlb1

Yes, funny how those in favour of nukes are motivated by hate....

  • at the press of a button ???????? do you think it's as easy as that then

  • @thefisthalo

    Near as damn it, actually.

  • @talkinglibertarian if it's that easy or near as dam it then why have only 2 wepons ever been used in war ?.

  • I can't see the problem here. This video doesn't show any bad policing. Everyone was calm and moved the protesters with minimum force.

Also, there was no need for more female officers. What for? They're trained in exactly the same way as the male officers and should have handled the situation just the same.

  • @anothertheotherme

Female Officers are required when Police have to man-handle women. Maybe you should check the Police's own procedures on these things before demonstrating your ignorance.

  • @talkinglibertarian so if a woman commits a crime then only a female officer can detain or arrest .people like you have made this country into what it is .i'm surprised you can bring yourself to use the word "man-handle" and not say something liberal like "person-handle" .i think every person has the right to dignity and respect , but with that comes self responsibility

  • What a complete waste of time. They dont have to provide female Police officers?

Are you mad! Well handled by the old bill in my book.

  • You dopey mare, his number is on his shoulder, even I can see that!!

  • Better a tree hugger than a nuclear submariner threatening genocide at the press of a button.

  • @talkinglibertarian Haha, another swampie up thier own arse with no clue. First of all, do you actually think any modern nation would actually use thier nuclear weapons especially the uk? Secondly it takes more then just " a push of a button" Thirdly these weapons where never intended to be used againt civillians even when we thought we may have to use them. And the only type of "Brutality" i can see or hear in that video is that bitch who wont stop "singing" if it can be called that

  • @Aliasify

No, I don't think a modern nation would use nukes against the UK, which is why I think our continued possession of nukes is a pointless waste of money.

Tell me how they can be used without killing civilians and breaking umpteen international laws? You are aware, right, of the 1996 Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice with regard to nukes? They stated that use of nuclear weapons would "generally run counter to established international law'.

  • @talkinglibertarian You people always go on about all of these "international laws" likw they are even relevent. Law is only relevent as long as its enforced. Who enforces law when it comes to nuclear weapons and nuclear prolifaration? The UN security council, made up of nations like the UK, the US france who all have nuclear weapons.

  • @Aliasify

You think international law irrelelvent, Aliasify? You are in good company with that view, Mugabe, Kim Jong Il, etc etc.

You seem to believe might is right. That is the attitude of a bully. Not a law-abiding citizen of the world.

  • @talkinglibertarian Wow, arent you hilarious. Either you cant think of something intilligent to say to my comment so you just twist it around, or you just dont understand it (My cash is on the second option) As i said, all laws are irrelevent if they are not enforced. Its funny you bring up Kim jong in your argument against nuclear weapons when North korea is one of the resons that nuclear weapons are still relevent today. "We make war so that we may live in peace" -Aristotle

  • I responded to your comment perfectly intelligently, it is not my problem if you can't understand it. You say "law is only relevent if it is enforced", which is basically a criminals charter - if you can get away with it it's okay, eh?

The enforcement of the law on nuclear weapons, such as it is, is through the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, of which the UK is a signatory. The NPT obliges the UK to work towards nuclear disarmament in good faith. I suggest some reading.
