Well, the NES didn't have much to work with; be glad it still resembles the original. wonder how much better a FamiCom version would sound... Probably a little more melodious, since the differences between the NES version of "Bloody Tears" from 'Castlevania: Simon's Quest' and the FamiCom version from 'Dracula II', the Japanese version, are that the FamiCom has a little more range, and sounds more melodious, as the example song should.
