  • sick sick sick solo by tyner, impeccable

  • how could trane be so calm when such exciting sounds were coming out of his horn?

  • Up with people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Intellectual music by people of color. Pioneers and soldiers for love.

  • @SeerTrulth sorry for that. i don´t understand ( the "people of color" thing), do you have a color in your skin?

  • @19gastonazo70 Hi. The phrase is one that was used by cultured individuals to avoid calling someone "negro" or "black" or "Arab" or anything non-"white". It's a "politically correct" (in a good sense) attempt to identify a minority in our system without using common terms. In this case, my comment means that African American jazz artists showed a world that they, too, were intellectuals of the highest order. This was a critical accomplishment in the day, and jazz was the language.

  • Fuck the dumb shit: this is godly. Jimmy Garrison's bass is the STANDARD for progressive jazz still. His patience and relaxation are hard to achieve.

  • What a music/vid! Sadly the moron who shot/edited this took great care to leave out Elvin Jones except towards the end!

  • Magnificent...

  • Jimmy rides hard. Love his solos, just perfect meditating.
