This is one of the most superb examples of understanding French style I have ever heard; Gedda and Werba are marvelous here. If I were to nitpick, I would say that perhaps the last degree of eroticism is lacking, as can be found in Gerard Souzay's version; Gedda's is more a thought about Phydile, whereas Souzay's is an immediate longing.
