Engineering is a way of life... I used to be human once, now I'm addicted to Labview, collecting peripherals and automating my life... you know... so that I can go do other stuff, like design robots with spinning knives and lazers with a NI robotics starter kit. Muhahaha.

Wait wait wait what? "I make software that enables scientists and engineers to build multi-core applications for whatever they're doing"?

If you did, I might reconsider your post about the pecking order between physicists and engineers. Took me and a friend of mine a year of discussions to figure out a theoretical solution for a concrete multithreading problem. If you have a general solution as finished code, I'd be kind of impressed.

And I wouldn't be the only one. Not exaggerating there? ;)
