I hate when those fuckers keep spaming incindiary shuriken/kuni... It's not that they do alot of damage by themselves, but the sheer number of them + the fact that you're trying to kill off the other ninjas crouding around you just makes it all the more annoying and difficult.
After you beat the game on a difficulty, you can keep your weapons or start completely over on that difficulty. If you choose to keep your weapons, your score on the leader board wont go up.
If you chose another difficulty, you wont retain your weapons and the dragon sword is at level one again. You have to start over from scratch. I know, I fucking hate Team Ninja, too. But after playing it through on harder difficulties, it makes the easier ones feel like cake.
mix in some quick ground combos frequently interrupted with dodges, if the explosions are flying never finish a combo on the ground. then when the AI adapts to your gameplan then use flying swallows and a few air combos to make them back off, and ground to air transitions with any weapon are great! dont get me wrong youre still good, probably a lot better than i am, im just noticing what works, especially with this game's brutal AI.
easily one of the most brutal hack n slash games ever created, but also in my opinion the best!! dude youre good, im really good until the explosives are flying everywhere, and then its like i just panic. the other guys are right though, you do spam moves alot which is beyond understandable at this difficulty. but by doing that there is a longer gap between combos and slows down your rate of attack, and also tends to hinder your movement, especially with flying swallows and the like.
that part in chapter 2 is hard as shit in master ninja i had to use all my health items just to get the fucking talons also call of gaiden being the master ninja mode im guessing in europe doenst make scense because gaiden means side story in english call of the side story??? it all doesnt make scense it should be ninja ruykenden i dont know why they changed it
master ninja don't play around. If you make one bad mistake your screwed. But's it so interesting to watch people do this mode because of how ninja-like they look.

if u would master other weapons the game gets dramatically easier, when I play (on master), there is always a weapon that gets the job done better then the rest, btw, the scythe is a cop out and it sux
Dunno, I kinda like tonfas, Vigoorian Flail and Scythe, those weapons are really fun to use. Dragon Sword is ok, but it lacks some reach, crowd control and no proper aerial attacks (air time attacks what allow you to hang in air and hit enemy multiple times).
ahhaaha lmao.. i fired 10+ ninpos used a full collection of health potions and one rebirth to pass here on master.. it was the toughest battle!! gj.. almost every combo or grab on you is a killer in master mode. haha
i completed this game on master ninja mode. i am proud
