Personally, I decided to start buying this car because i love Aston's, The added benefit for me is the fact i get to build the car myself an pass it on to my son as an heirloom for him to enjoy when he's older, there has never been another model like this of this specification produced, therefore it will make this car very rare indeed, people will fall over thereselves to buy this model if any became availale, not only will they hold their value they will increase in value!!
Cool car ,iam subscriber and you would be amazed by the detail that has gone into this DB5.Iam on issue 27 and the detail in the parts is amazing ignition key and lock etc.The commercial does not do this car justice worth every penny roll on next year when my DB5 will be complete
I've just subscribed to the magazine and can't wait for the first issues to arrive, as well as the free extras %) As only the first issue is out at the moment though will I have to wait for the next 3 to receive my first order????????
@TopGear6666 how can you say this is a rip off you can pay £300+ for a 1:18 scale so £600 for a 1:8 with this detail and the fact the gadgets work and you build it yourself (it even has the wepons tray and wepons also the radio phone which was installed but never featured in the film) so for this kind of detail ur gunna pay a high price and just to think this will hold its value as all 007 cars old especialy the db5

It's a beauty of a model but no way is it worth the price, Plus if you miss an issue you have to order back issues costing even more money!
So no it's not worth the 85 weeks and cost it will take to build this.
@TopGear6666 i can see your point of the fact alot of people will buy this mag but 4,000 vanquishes where relesed a few years ago in 1:10 scale and they where £450 and theyve held there value i know this for a fact as a friend of mine has one and saying back issues cost more yes they do .50p more (P&P) also if alot of people wont want to sell them like me so they will be harder to get hold of and a few years down the line will defanaly hold its value
@sbphotography450 I understand what you're saying, but the way I look at it is personally if I were to buy the completed model I'd prefer to buy it from a manufacturer not someone who has built it from scratch but that's just me.
I'd like to buy the magazine and build it myself but I just can't see how the price is worth it to be honest.
If you start collecting and building it I'd love to see a vid if you'd put one up.
All in all it still is a beauty of a car though :)
