the saleen doesn't go 250mph....really love the saleen but unfortunately at over 200mph it touched (dunno all saleens, but they've got all nearly same body) the ground with the chassis. it surely would do, but it has too much downforce.

There geared for high speeds, not the 1/4 mile, but if yougear it differently, then it will perform great on the 1/4, and by the way, why are there so many ricing fucks commenting on this, u can put all the shit u want into that engine, but u put it against a s7 TT, your fucked, you can take your chrome rims and cheap vinyl and shut the fuck up

u have an Evo? damn i want one! i ended up with a 06 scion Tc w/ TRD package. its pretty much stock besides a TRD air intake and exhaust, front and rear sway bars, and an eibach lowering kit. I'm gonna put an HKS GT pro turbo kit. maybe add some racing spark plugs, methanol injection set, and chrome plate valve covers and headers and ill be running those times to. it will be sorta expensive but its cheaper then a saleen s7 lol.
@Bearcat909 save yourself the money on the methanol kit and chrome valve covers not worth it. do injectors, pump and tune insted of the pump youll be ok and be making more power. Some head work would hurt either lol

@icos211 there is a very good reason it costs so much less than say a veyron, it is because they are shit build quality, if you do any more than about 120 mph the rear-view mirror falls off because of the vibration. sure its nice but i wouldn't want one as it is so impractical i.e you would spend more time under it than in it. they should strip out the drab interior and covert it to a pure race machine and fit some decent suspension then it would be good!

Cams, solid lifters, and better ported heads and you also had the option of a close ratio gear set as in car 025 but that will limit the top speed to around 220mph. and BTW the cars with the "competition cars" with the big goofy wings and the embroidered competition seats are not actually comp S7's just some options premium some people opted for. Steve Saleen and Billy Tally can confirm this

Well, it's a Saleen built 7.0 liter motor. But the 7.0 (427 CI) is directly blueprinted from Ford's 427 sideoiler engines and add the newer technology in CNC milling and what not.
wow thats very fast considering it was just an average everyday launch. its definutely capable of high to mid 11's. and thats a normal s7 not even a TT. Saleen really did a fantastic job with that car. Some people (haters) spewed angst about the semi-Ford engine(which only the head covers are from ford to save doe and be compatible with ford after market parts) but people forget Mclaren f1 had a BMW sourced engine. Zonda- merc engine , Konnigseggeg- Ford engine. so why the angst?

@icos211 there is a very good reason it costs so much less than say a veyron, it is because they are shit build quality, if you do any more than about 120 mph the rear-view mirror falls off because of the vibration. sure its nice but i wouldn't want one as it is so impractical i.e you would spend more time under it than in it. they should strip out the drab interior and covert it to a pure race machine and fit some decent suspension then it would be good!

@karterphil i have drove both the saleen s7 an veyron while i do agree in the s7 tt after 150mpg the car is terrible to drive the veryron i was in i only brought it to 165mph ran out of runway at a local abandon runway but the veyron at 160 is like a caddy at 50 smooth an waiting for more the saleen s7 tt its screams!!!! but its like a rocket with no lazer gudience lol but the one thing i dont get that you said was that thing about practicaity hahah you want that buy a civic not a $500,000 car

@icos211 What Competition package S7 will do 260mph? the one with ALMS motor? Cams, solid lifters, and better ported heads and you also had the option of a close ratio gear set as in car 025 but that will limit the top speed to around 220mph. and BTW the cars with the "competition cars" with the big goofy wings and the embroidered competition seats are not actually comp S7's just some options premium some people opted for. Steve Saleen and Billy Tally can confirm this

Many americans like to hail them to the skies but few stepped up and actually bought one. They sold what.. 30 of them to dedicated enthusiasts and went out of business.
Veyrons, Enzos, Mclarens are insanely popular, highly collectible legends because they werent racecars. They were supercars. Even with their pricetags sold 10 times more cars

Well, it's a Saleen built 7.0 liter motor. But the 7.0 (427 CI) is directly blueprinted from Ford's 427 sideoiler engines and add the newer technology in CNC milling and what not.

wow thats very fast considering it was just an average everyday launch. its definutely capable of high to mid 11's. and thats a normal s7 not even a TT. Saleen really did a fantastic job with that car. Some people (haters) spewed angst about the semi-Ford engine(which only the head covers are from ford to save doe and be compatible with ford after market parts) but people forget Mclaren f1 had a BMW sourced engine. Zonda- merc engine , Konnigseggeg- Ford engine. so why the angst?

USDM cars are nice... but there already quick..... which i dont like.... it might jsut me me but i like doing all the work my self... swapping out the engine and building up the head and building the block..... and with usdm cars they come out the box fast.... whichis why i like hondas... there slow as fuck out the box... if you know what ur doing u can get it to run 10s and 9s and it takes time and work... which is what i like.. just the reason why i like hondas.. not all hondas
