The bible was written 2000+ years ago, fitting to that time period where if you slept with someone out of marriage, you were put to death; if you cheated on your spouse, you were put to death & you could sell your oldest daughter into slavery. I have a wonderful same sex partner. I love him like a brother. We share dreams, aspirations, hopes and fears. We love each other unconditionally. Does the Bible not preach love? I don't seem to recall anywhere in the New Testament Jesus speaking directly against homosexuals. Although he did speak out against divorce, yet there have been divorced ministers preaching on Sunday mornings. I'm not trying to twist God's Word, but it seems to me people should research before spewing bigotry.

At first, when I came out to them, they were angry with me, going on and on and ranting and raving about sins. they made me go to the church and confess and it was all this huuuuge production... They only encode how organisms respond to stimulus. Thus we are both fully genetic (in the strictly reductiionist sense) and also infinitely variable beings of free will. That's the paradox of existence.

What is ODD here is that Homosexuality is NOT a "practice". Most whom I have known don't DO IT because they WANNA practice is. They do IT because it is what comes natural to THEM, like GOD intended it to be that WAY. Those who wish to change their sexuality find it hard to do, but actually WISH that they could do it quickly TO FEEL right and fit properly into society. @iamLI3 .... gays arent the only ppl who commit suicide... people who have very little self control commit suicide i dont think they should be lifted any higher than the kids in china who kill themselves because they feel they have failed their parents, or the kids right at home who kill themselves for whatever reason, they are no more special, same as no less special, but they get more attention than the ppl in china or at home simply because they are "looked down upon" by society...

@murderousbastard83 ... umm i think the bible is beautiful, well at least the modernized one ill agree that version is a little uhh old but thats why i read the niv version but the bible really is interesting if you read it its like a big story, you dont have to believe in christianity to read the bible, its like me(being a christian) and reading a book called everlost, that conflicts with christianity, i dont think its real but i think its a good story. :) theres some real beautiful stuff in it

I can work if the disision isn't rushed. But if not rushed it may come up as bad. Like if some1 is always naging you about smoking, you might say you'll change but wont. But if you deside it is bad by yourself you have a good chance of sticking with it.
