@SonicGirl10219 start off small like i would recommend a blade mcx2. when you get good at that then may be if you have your orientations down then an blade MCPX. it has the flybarless unit which will be good for beginners. The M stand for Micro, C=collective P=pitch, X=flybarless.

I am eying this heli to replace a Belt CP V2 that is having difficulties. I run nitro cars and know my way around nitro engines, though I have a few questions.

-What does the transmitter support? Throttle Hold? Flight modes? Dual Rates? Model memory?

-Does the heli come with a governor? If not, can one be added easily?

-Is the build particularly difficult?

hey Hubia for your first question, you dont get fuel for the heli. it will cost you about $ 20 a liter. you can go to your local hobby store and buy the starter kit. This is VERY NICE heli. thumbs up for walkera

I have a Walkera 2801 Pro radio system being used with a Storm 450 carbon edition heli. I am new to this hobby but should soon be ready to try a little 3-D flight. I love the heli but for some reason I am not getting negative pitch in throttle hold position when I have the heli in ST 1 or ST 2. Should I adjust the pull rods so I get more negative pitch and go back and re adjust the NORM position as to only get -1 to -2 pitch or should this be handled with the radio?

Hi again tony, finally i have the heli but i have two questions:

- Do you remenber how many degress of pich are you using? (i have +11/-11)

- You use 15 o 30% nitro....?.

My ciclic is slow, i think i need change the paddles for more agressive flight, i have 65 on both aileron and elevator...(swash)

Last i have a litle drift of my tail to the right, i need to check the neutral point...

@xhelicopter hi, i have a wk 2801 and a rx 2801. can the reciever handle 5.8 volts because i want to use it in my trex 600 nitro. what is the setup for the walkera 83 heli? does it have a 7.4v battery and then a regulator what converts it to 5.8 volts. PLEASE HELP.

@ravijagdev I'm using a Tx 2801E, with a Rx 2801PRO on both my birds, a T-Rex 450 and a T-Rex 600 both electrics with no issues whatsoever.

@ravijagdev OK, sorry not that familiar with nitro Helis, I thought Electrics were 5.8 but I was wrong, the step down is to 5.1V Regards.

@Datucky yes! nothing can beat the smell of nitro. in helis its kida different to cars. i have a kyosho FW-05 T with a gxr 15 engine. it goes 73km/h on a 120m straight track. im using 16% at the moment. i dont want to go to 20 coz my friend blew up his engine. are the phantom engine any good and whats the price for them usually?

@ravijagdev The fantom are nothing but greatnes, my Rustler was smoking any other rustler, I´m using 16% too, I believe 20% would be too much, maybe in the .21 in the buggy, but I don't want to have 2 different gallons. I bought them quite a while ago, and got 2 reapair kits. around 130 US

@ravijagdev switch to ELECTRIC. i used to have a nitro 600 and then i switched to a electric T-rex 550e 3g. And what a difference. a touch cheaper too. may be not on a 700 though.

Whittier looks beat up from the Winter months....

Use %30 instead of the 20 and it will produce more power but will never rival that of the electrics. Not the point of nitro 450/475s.

Also the fuel filter is designed to go on in the other direction. That's so when you fill the tank dirt can't come from your fuel can and set in the clear chamber because that end won't be filtered before the carb... I just bought one of those filters and noticed it..

You can do it, but you have to set up the mixing on the transmitter to kill the engine.

what are the odds of xheli selling this model? and what would pricing and parts be like. I would like to get in to nitro but the $ to fix a larger heli keeps me away. the exi 450 parts are cheep as dirt so I am not afraid to try new things. I have bin flying for 6 months and am kind of getting tired of charging lipos . if the price is right I would buy this heli when available.

Nice flying Tony.That's a nice looking Heli and radio.Your missing a screw out of the gyro.X-Heli needs to carry the full line of Walkera and ESky helicopters .They just might rule the cybercopter world then.Also carry some aftermarket hop ups.

Yeah, ours was a sample model so it didnt't came with a screw. I'm surprised that you noticed that. Xheli will eventually carry a majority of those brands but until then we just have to make due. Thanks for the comment Jauchiu
