Hilarious nanswers from a couple of obvious newbs.
Funny how an Admiral gets fired for making a video that was supposed to be funny and build morale, but yet LT's can make them, destroy morale and keep their job! Ironic that the very people stepping into the Admiral's shoes someday defend this sort of thing. I say grow up, grow a set or GTFO. And no...I'm not a shut up and color officer...just a retired enlisted guy that is supposed to listen to you bunch of girlies and "respect" you!
@KirovPDR This entire program is cookie-cutter and a waste of time. To those of us who will actually see combat, we get better training in our pipelines than the under-qualified instructors at ASBC ever could give us (I'm referring to the TACP, combat control, and pararescue officers). This program was a waste of 6 weeks of my life where I could have been training for my actual job instead.
@KiroPDR What do JRTCs and ECPs or OREs, for that matter, have to do with an ASBC graduate complaining about ASBC? Tell me one point that guy said that was invalid, si'l vous plait
I think the cheapest way for the Air Force to save money is to cut all the sniveling "I don't think I have to do that" officers right on out to the unemployment line! This person has obviously NEVER: 1) Gone to JRTC and had to set up an ECP because there was nobody there to do it FOR YOU. 2) Participated in an ORE where you have to go out to sweep for IEDs while you are graded by an ORE inspector. With good feeback like this hopefully ASBC will clamp down! Disgraceful behavior from an officer!
@KirovPDR Disgraceful behavior from an officer? You must be one of those, "Shut up and color Lieutenant!" officers. While this is not the best platform nor the most professional manner in which to express their opinion, this "disgraceful officer" is doing just what an officer should - think for themselves. Valid points are made in this video, which while expressed in an intentionally comedic manner, are obviously well thought out. I'm prior-service and I honestly found the program to be a waste.
And now ASBC is a thing of the past. ... now I get to experience it again in SOS. OTL
