interesting video! I have never done sand blasting..... thats a bummer it didn't work well for ya. I grew up in Michigan so I know all too well about working on rusty cars. best of luck on your next step! it might not be a bad idea to look south for a shell rust free. in the long run it may save you some money. just a thought! .... in Georgia you can see 1980's rides drivin around with the original paint.
@nonamejoe56 - Me too, I can't stand rust. Thanks for the tip, I will have to see if I can get a can of fluid film. Do you know where it is usually sold?
@ahubbard117 You can get it most places that sells WD-40. It is absolutely amazing, every 3 or so months, I put a coating of it on all the scratches and chips on my truck so they don't rust. I heard it works for 6 months. It also stops leaks around windshields, lubricates, drives out moisture, etc. I put it on bear metal and left it outside all winter, not a spec of rust. During winter I also coat my bumpers and rims with it so they don't rust, also inside the doors and hinges.
how long does that little container of sand last on the gun?

Can u use regular beach sand?:)

@MegaFamous143
NO, too many impurities in it, and any organic matter on the sand can cause contamination.

@cw3849 - Sand came for Tractor Supply for about $7/bag. Works OK. Not the best.

God dam it I hate rust, there is a chemical called fluid film, and it stops rust for a couple months, it comes in an aerosol can.
