After you wade through all the psycho babble of this seris, the premise is really pretty straight forward. IMO. I'd sum it up for you but I don't wanna ruin for thoseof U who R new to the series.

Did you know... the guy who voices Raimi is also the guy who voiced Goku in the canadian production of Dragon Ball Z? If you listen to Raimi scream carefully, you'll notice how it sounds just like Goku.

To anyone who owns the DVD: Is there an option where you can turn off the voices, but nothing else? (Yes, I'm an hardcore fan of the original, however much I love the revamped artwork. Kirby Morrow is the only voice actor I really enjoyed in this version)

yes there is such an option, in the set up section seclect '2.0 classic (text and music only)' which is the second option down. i prefer it without the voices as well. i think with the voices it just makes it into more of a coventional animation and looses the graphic novel format feel to it. The fact that it's a graphic novel is really important to me. Reading is an integral part of the whole thing.
