All you can say is the merc is noob but he is not SM is pro thats why he cant do anything. Check the first skill what the SM do.. Impact Punch right? He is so wise and pro to use it as first move.. Why Impact Punch? to lunch enemy in the air so enemies Aerial Evasion will be used so all his nxt moves can connect properly.

after yang yang change to gladiator, he reset the skill also, he banned crescent cleave and 1/2moon slash.. 10lvl++ heavy slash and 6 lvl eclipse get(if it was right)..he did mentioned the heavy slash is just some move pattern that he like, depends on evry ppl's style, u can change it, more information in

they are not the same skill, one of them is a gladiator skill (finishing attack) which has an animation with a bigger wave.
