I think the reason for them to put only one remake on the blu-ray Disc is because they could not fit 2 remakes on the Vita, I high doubt that it was because they where planing a 360 port....

I doubt it will come to Xbox for a couple of reasons.

This was announced at Sony's conference at TGS.

In Europe FFX was published by Sony, so I suspect Sony still have some sort of ownership of this game.

It wouldn't take much effort to re-master a PS2 game to the PS3 system, while it would probably take alot more effort to get it onto the Xbox aswell.

Final fantasies sell better on PlayStation full stop.

But it's good to reintroduce people to the awesome battle system and visual style of that game. The battle system was only used in the sequel, Lord of the Rings The Third Age, and Lost Odyssey (to my knowledge) and it was actualy kinda strategic but also good to be able to get up, grab a coffee and come back to the battle later without pausing.

Loved FFX, but I beat it a couple times and would only play it again for nostalgia... wouldn't spend more than 20 bucks on it if that. Sorry but this game didn't have a lot of replay value, even if it will be prettier. Unfortunately RPG style games are getting outdated. I don't know how I feel about this, to be honest. I LOVE FFX and it's one of my favorite games, I'm just nervous about how it's going to turn out, since other companies like Konami are doing similar things with their games (ex. The Silent Hill series). I'm just not sure if it'll be worth it. And of course, there's also the real reason why they're doing it: for the money. In short, I think it's going to be a cheap rip off, which makes me sad. :(
