This is basically the beginning of a song "Who will be with you when I'm far away" ... however it seems hard to know whether the name of the song is "Who will be with you when I'm far away" or "Did you everhave the feeling that you wanted to stay". More frequently it is the former.

I'd downloaded a great dvd rip of this film before clipping this segment... lol, the problem was that it had a spanish language track that couldn't be separated during editing. So I had to clip it as close to the song as possible.

Some old film strips can have up to 18,000 pixel dimension due to filming technique. This means that in a few decades when we all have gigantic TVs as standard all the "bluray hd movies" will look crap and pixelated while all the old movies like this can be converted from original film and still retain their full dimensions. We took a huge step backwards with HD in regards to film-making.

Actually it is from that film 'My Stepmother's an Alien' that my son and I first heard this song. And the next day my son was still singing it.
