  • She just pretended to be a expert so expert village would pay her like 1k to do this..

Seriously! My four year old cousin knows more about horses then this poser!

  • WOW, you're SUCH an expert! I love watching your videos!! Lol, JK!!!!! Wtb r you thinking?? This is NOT how to 'fit your horse with a Western saddle. I should know, I'm a barrel racer.& brushing your horse in the FACE with a BODY brush?? Omg, please just TIE UP YOUR HORSE. It's driving me NUTS.& walking like 15ft from the horse is just totally stupid. You're supposed to stay close to them so they know where you are, and cant gain strength to kick. Do us a favor&stop posting these stupid videos

  • why does she go like 6 feet away from the horses rump? If you really dont trust your horse then you gotta problem and the horse might get scared if they see you walking that far away

  • How are you an expert ???

  • You know, showing how to groom would work better if your horse wasn't already impeccably clean. It would appear it's the only thing she knows how to do. Groom. Good job Kelli.

  • it's actually much safer to walk right behind the horse's hindquarters instead of walking further away. Sheesh

  • who has good videos about tacking up a horse that I can watch? I just sarted and need to know how to do it properly.

  • some of heres are good some are not just google what your looking for

  • who cares if shes using a soft bristle brush ur suposed to use a spong or a small cloth

  • thats a really beautifull horse

  • You people are to judgmental. Kelly is doing fine. If you actually listen, she did say she is using a soft brush.

  • Kelly cant do a mothafuckin thing...she knows nothing about horses!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that horse hated you brushing its face

  • wow first dont walk behind the horse so far she could still hit you and second your not suposed to brush a horses face with a hard bristle brush not smart

  • r u crazy she said she was using a soft brush duhhhhhh

  • Cute horse. Incompetent trainer.

  • apparenbtlys omeone forgot to teach this girl that you don;t walk far out from a horse but rather close into the body -__- the damage caused bya kick is lessened the closer in you are -_-.

Though honestly she act liek shes alil afraid of the horse...

  • what i was taught for walking to the other side of the horse, is when your already burshing him that you just keep your hand on its butt when your walking to the other side so that he knows your there.

you can easily startle the horse the way shes doing it if you forget to tap his shoulder.

  • thats what i was taught to and it is useless to pat him after you already walked around

  • exactly! because he can see you walking behind and stuff. haha

  • i dont know if your SUPPOSSED to, but thats what ive always done just instinctively, dunno why.

  • you are supposed to, cause if you;re that far away the horse can easily get at you and buck. but if you're right behind him with your hand on his butt you're showing the horse that you're not going to hurt him or startle him. if you're that far away hes going to think you're doing somethin bad. they are intelligent animals with paranoid instincts

  • @xxBlackVeilBridexx That is the way i was taught too.

  • Has anyone ever told her that when you stand directly behind the horse it can't get enough leverage in it's kick to actually get you?

  • Yes it has the rope in its mouth, but look at the fence.. The fence has been chewed before and the horse has its mouth on the fence also

  • if you dont feel confortable going around his butt. it is easy to go in front of them they will not do anything if you go beneath their chest. i do this alot.. because my horse will not kick me but you never know if the dog or if another horse is going to come up fast behind her and while she may try to kick them i could get in the way and she could accidently kick me.. so this method is great for that.

  • Wow.. Let's just ignore the fact that the horse is cribbing

  • oh my gosh, i know right! god that happens in like every one of her frickin videos! and she doesnt even say or care about it!

  • horselvr 139 - You are giving bad info - If your horse doesn't like it's legs touched how will you ever do anything with them. You need to clean them feel them to check for injuries trimming you name it....It's just bad practice to stay to far away from it. Keep a hnad on them all the time and STOP PATTING them - they are not dogs - When they do something right RUB THEM (LIKE THEIR MOTHER WOULD DO)

Try patting your chest and see if you would like that or a rub

  • she's a bad advisor isn't she? she's pretty stupid if she lets her horse chew on wood

  • This lady needs to take some lessons herself she obviosly know nothing about horses...

  • I gonna laugh when that horse kicks the shit outta her for walking that far around. Its just like when you have horses shod, you just run your hand down their leg. Same principle.

  • Each horse is different, she knows her own horse and how it should be walked behind. Some horses need to have their hind legs avoided because they don't like to be touched on their hind legs. You don't know her horse, so you really can't make rude comments.

  • If the horse doesn't like its legs touched, then you have a problem... You should work through it not avoid it... That just allows more problems to form

  • Duh, I'm not an idiot. But while your still working on getting it to accept having its legs touched you don't want to risk getting hurt. When you trust it enough after working with it for awhile than you can walk around the back of it closely.

  • if you just run your hand along her ass she wont kick you because they don't think your another horse

  • Definitely need to work on good horse habits... Walking that far away each time will get you killed.

  • Yeah, I agree with you AbbyRM07... her conormation is horrible!! Her whole body is longer than a submarine. I doubt she can cary much weight for very long without being in pain. She does have a nice coat, and a pretty head. She also appears to have an owner(?) who loves her & she looks to be VERY WELL cared for. Let's just hope she never breeds this Mare!!

  • That horse has really shitty conformation. She is really wrong about moving around the horses hindquarters. Stay close and put your hand on their rump so they know you are there.
