lol everybody uses bags. Try saran wrap it's way better. Thanks for sharing all these videos by the way. I'm trying to get healthier longer hair and you girls are helping.
Wow!!! You look soo good. Very beautiful. What is your arm work out rutine? You have excellent arms and very sexy arm muscles. Do you flex your biceps in this vid or are your biceps like that only when you move your arm? Looks realy cool. Do you often get asked to flex your biceps? I know I would like to see them flexed. Again, excellent looks and mesmerizing arms!
Frickin awesumm! Im trying that! My hair stylist said my hair isnt shedding or breaking off badly but its damaged from lack of moisture which causes my ends to break and be uneven.. lol and i REFUSE to get it cut more than just the split ends so im trying that! My ends will probably grow evenly. u think?
If your ends are split, I suggest you trim right away before it get's worse. You won't regret it. Just tell her to do a light trim so that you don't loose any length.
what do u mean when u say moisture ur hair wat do u use nd sealing the ends??
so from u jus conditionin ur hair twice a week made ur hair gro?
my hair is like yo hair was on yo pics before u started takin care of it nd im sooo glad that u did these videos
i mean ur somethin like a hero to me lol cuz ma hair is jus ma mess i hate it but im gonna try ur regimen nd i really hope it work cuz i lov ma hair when its right but now it isnt
Aww thanks girl. To seal my ends, I use an oil i.e. Hot Six Oil or Hollywood Beauty Castor Oil. Yes, washing my hair more often made it grow faster and moisturizing my ends helped a lotttttttt.
That's a great idea to do it in sections like that i'm so lazy i usually just squirt the conditioner on and it drips like a jerry curl, lol but i will do it like this next deep condition, thanks!!!!
I twist so that the hair is not in my way and so I don't mix it up with the others. Plus, whatever is left over on my hands ends up in between the hairs as I'm twisting.
you say you deep condition twice a week? so i guess that means you wash your hair twice a week huh? but i heard that isnt good for your hair i see it's workn for you tho...
Thanks for the videos! Wanted to know how often do you deep condition. Also wanted to know do you alternate between protein and moisture, or do you stick to just the moisture. I always get this confused.
lolz!! When I Deep Condition My Hair I Use A Plastic Bag Too! I Jus Dnt Buy Plastic Shower Caps Anymore. ShoppingBags Are So Much More.. Convienient.Right? lolz. That Jus Tickled Me!
I LOVE Your Vids. They Are Very Helpful& I Am Taking Your Advice! I Hope 2 Get My Length To My Armpits By The Middle of O9! Its At My Shoulders. idk. But Thanks For The Vids. && Yu Hav A New Loyal Subscriber!!
a little confused.. do u wash, deep condition and then wash? and how many times do u deep condition on a month or weekly basis??? But other than that.. great video!! I want to start my own hair journal soon.. just want to pick up a regiment that works good for thick coarse hair.. u have any ideas for me to start with?
I would say no simply because the conditioner can penetrate better then there is a heat source. The heat allows the hair shaft to swell open allowing all the nutrients from the conditioner to enter in. If you don't have a hooded dryer, use a heating cap from Sally Beauty Supply or a hot towel. If anything, you could also leave it on overnight and put a winter hat (something thick) over the plastic cap to generate more heat.
im kinda lost on this deep condtioning thing. But can i use a regular conditioner as a deep conditioner if i leave it in longer? with a shower cap on..... oh and i joined hairlista!!!!! yay lol
Sharon, its best to use a conditioner that specifically states, leave on for a specific amount of time with heat. If you do happen to use a conditioner that is not for deep conditioning, leave it on for 30mins and use a heat source to open the hair shaft.
The twists help me manage my hair better and prevents me from mixing it with the other hairs without conditioner. I leave the plastic bag on for 30mins under a hooded dryer.
Genius! What a wonderful technique!...hmmm...I wonder if it will work on my natural hair since it doesn't separate as easily but, I wanna try! Thank you so much!
could you make a video of how you wash hair so that it doesn't get tangle or explain how you do it cuz you hair didn't look tangled in the begining. and a video of what to do with your hair at night for bed. btw i love the butterfly CD my favorite.
I love Mariah back in '97. Anyway, I shampoo in the shower and I don't rub my hair all over the place with the shampoo on my hair. I gently massage and thats it. I'll see if I can do a nightly routine video for you very soon!! :-)
Nice technique. I separate my hair into 4 sections then start from the back & work to the front of that section. I divide each section into 1" pieces and apply the DC with my applicator brush from the roots on each side then middle (massage in for any NG in the middle that may not have gotten DC)...working the DC to the ends. When I'm done with the whole section, I braid it and apply more DC to the whole braid to make sure.
I'm glad to hear that. This method is great and very easy. My hair is well conditioned after I do it this way. Whenever I have a lot of product left over, I always add whatever is remaining on the ends.
What are decent shampoos and conditioners for the hair??
And any good moisturizers, Im not big on hair care and I really need advise???

kalane 3 years ago
Honey is a humectant, it draws moisture into the hair making it soft.
HairliciousInc 3 years ago
is there a particular reason for the twisting?
spoiledbygod 3 years ago
No reason really. I just find my hair easier to manage when in twists and I know that the conditioner is on my roots to my tips/ends

I usually deep condition in sections like that but never did the twists though... I'll definitely have to try that.
