  • How do you keep air bubbles from forming in the resin? Some ppl use a blowtorch, but i havnt seen that technique used with wood.

  • @exotikk1 i'd use a blow torch too! ill post the second video soon and use a blow torch. the blow torch is the best practice i added to make my resin jobs flawless. you stay far away enough from the surface that the flame does not effect the surface. BLOW TORCH!!!!!

  • @davezak Thanks! Blow torchs are an essential craft item! Here's another question- Do you make orangey-coloured resin to to resemble tree sap? I might want to embed freeze-dried ferns and things in domed resin to replicate natural amber.

  • @exotikk1 on the artresin website we have translucent dyes... one of the colours is AMBER... exactly what you want! mix this dye in when you mix part A and B! cool idea :)

  • I need to resin a drum. Will i have to keep spinning the drum so there wont be any drips?

  • @Sparkydrums no spinning, do MANY thin coats...

  • david you are so sexy....

  • Was there ever a part 2 or 3 to this video? Would love to see the finished project

  • @chey5000 no i haven't finished yet. It became too cold here. I'll get at it soon the weather is clearing up. the tree stumped soaked up so much resin. was a big waste.
