It wasnt that bad really, just heavily unrefined. If this ever DID manage to make it off the ground, I think they would settle into the roles nicely, and develop a nicer flow and overall polish.
In fact, this was a lot better than most gaming programs. Shame it never went anywhere :/

Yahtzee looks half-dead and almost robotic, Yug laughs at everything Yahtzee says, and Matt could be plucked from the show and you would barely notice that he wasn't there. Their sketch humor also isn't funny...besides the DNF thing. That actually made me chuckle, but other than that, I see nothing entertaining here.
Well it was a pilot episode, that's what people make when they want to know what people think of their show idea. They use the critisism to help improve it. Most parts were funny but some needed work. I really want to see another episode of this!

Looks cool but I think they could really benefit by getting someone in to review their scenes on the sofa and by having a look at the order of what they've put in. It just seemed a bit haphazard at times. Again, comments need a look at and they really need to loosen up on camera but still take a professional approach. It would be bad to ask them to just improvise on the day but being stiff can be off-putting from time to time. Fine-tuning is all that's needed. Simple plan and it'll be fine.

"No one's on the Playstation Network" and also moaning about physics based gameplay. I'd argue that Portal and Half Life 2 used physics based guns excellently. The sad thing is I really like the concept, but I found none of the jokes funny and the sofa bits were so obviously scripted it was cringable. That would be ok if they weren't so shaky at giving their lines: at one point Matt actually forgot he was supposed to let Yahtzee speak. Just a hunch but I'd guess the whole thing would be improved with the use of an autocue. Other than that the sketches need more variety, the gags were generally weak and Yahtzee was the only one with a decent review.
Curses! That moment he said "enzyme" I decided I had to confirm he was wrong, and I seem to have affirmed my suspicions. After all, if it doesn't end in "-ase" it's not an enzyme. Other than that, I enjoyed this, another worthwhile stop on the procrastinational journey that is my Sunday evening.
i like it. they just need to loose the terrible skits and add more interesting discussions, editorials and witt. maybe if some of the discussions were rehearsed they'd be funnier.
What's with all the hate for Yug and Matt? Sure, they obviously can't compare to the greatness of Yahtzee, but them being terrible? Seriously? I think they did pretty well. Well yes, yahtzee is awesome but the other two do provide contrast. However, there does seem to be alittle anamosity between yahtzee and matt... Yahtzees adventure bit was quite interesting (half cause hes yahtzee, half cause it was just cool) but the other two were seriously lacking (not because they arent yahtzee). too bad there werent any sponsors; there was great potential.
They did re-shoot this. Though I don't know anything else. Think the project is in Limbo after they bought the better separate chairs instead of the slouchy couch.

Yahtzee, Yug and Matt are awesome, to be honest I watched this because of Yahtzee. After seeing Yug and Matt I started listening to the Australian Gamer Podcasts. Also Yahtzee is in some of those podcasts.
They seem awkard with each other but in a scripted way... Its like the worst comboination... But baring in mind its just a pilot, i liked it. And of course Yahtzee wins epicly.
Matt needs to get bent. Yug doesn't make me want to stab him up the bum with a rusty pike as much as the other stooge, but I think an on camera lobotomy might make him more interesting.

i like it. they just need to loose the terrible skits and add more interesting discussions, editorials and witt. maybe if some of the discussions were rehearsed they'd be funnier.

What's with all the hate for Yug and Matt? Sure, they obviously can't compare to the greatness of Yahtzee, but them being terrible? Seriously? I think they did pretty well. Sure, they could definitely improve, but they were far from unwatchable. This is a perfect case of fanboyism; everybody loves Yahtzee so much, they think everyone else sucks in comparison.

had potential, my only complaint is the only 3 comedy sketches they could come up with were played in the same order. isn't the variety is the spice of life? also i find yug a little too "look at me" but maybe hez meant to be the "main host" or whatever lol. other thn tht i enjoyed it and if they ever make another one il probz watch it again

Well yes, yahtzee is awesome but the other two do provide contrast. However, there does seem to be alittle anamosity between yahtzee and matt... Yahtzees adventure bit was quite interesting (half cause hes yahtzee, half cause it was just cool) but the other two were seriously lacking (not because they arent yahtzee). too bad there werent any sponsors; there was great potential.

The other two aren't nessisary. Not only do they not add anything, but they clash with Yahtzee's awesome accent. It's annoying they didn't get passed the Pilots, but at the same time, I'm glad they didn't. I'd hate for this to replace Zero Punctuation.

This is embarrassing really. There really only needs to be Yahtzee in this, the other two are adding nothing, and seem to actually be basking in the presence of Yahtzee. If he is to do a show or anything of the kind with other people, they need to be able to add something, not laugh giddily at every word he says. It'd be cool to see Yahtzee, the pessimist, someone who's optimistic, a very "professional" acting reviewer, an a talking imp. Nuff said.

It would be better if Yahtzee was the center of the show (star power and all that) with the other two or more contributing. I imagine they went with the usual multi-host format because it would be the only way to sell it to TV networks...

I reckon the main reason this show didn't go off was because, they really should act professionally! I don't mean Ben Croshaw, I mean the other two laughing at his jokes. And Yahtzee it the only reason people watched this, no one knows or cares who the other manchildren are!

Matt needs to get bent. Yug doesn't make me want to stab him up the bum with a rusty pike as much as the other stooge, but I think an on camera lobotomy might make him more interesting.
