  • Sweetpea probably couldn't help knocking stuff over with such a long tail!!!!

  • Well maybe u shouldnt have got a boxer :\ cause boxers can be like that lol

  • Awe poor Sweet Pea with the guilty face hiding behind the curtains :)

  • It hides behind da curtain ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

  • i saw this on BAD DOG yesterday!! :)

  • one thing from this video...... GREAT MEMORIES!!!

  • I cant begin to tell you how much stuff my boxer Ziggy destroyed, especially the first two yrs!!! If anyone gives you a hard time they dont know what they're talking about and can kiss our boxer loving butts!!!!

  • Here's a simple question - do you always turn on the video camera when you talk with your dog?

  • hahaha i have a boxer too I understand

  • it called team work.i still think the little one was the ring leader.

  • Lol!!! I love when she hides in the curtains. Guilty!!!!

  • put them back in crates.

  • My white boxer does this 3 times a day every day!!!!:)))

  • hahaha !!! poor woman :p

  • I love your tone. You sound sweet even though your telling him off ; )

  • Not all dogs will make the connection, but some do.

And you do fine with your dog. Its not like you're beating her, screaming, or rubbing her nose in the mess.

  • Im gonna get Sweet Pea a Lawyer

  • Poor Sweet Pea - I have a yellow lab who acts much the same way - he's very agitated while crated and when not crated and alone, he destroys the house - my vet put him on doggie valium and it has worked perfectly - he is now content to stay calm all day long - he is exercised profusely when I get home from work - and loved and kissed and cuddled with. The pills have worked great.

  • You need to build a dog run outside if you're only gone a limited time. I'm an animal behaviorist and trust me I've seen worse damage. See if you can find one in your area. A dog's mind is a terrible thing to waste. The more destructive the more intelligent they are.

  • Yeah. we know who the guilt one is here. The one avoiding eye contact. LOL.

  • As a dog obedience trainer... I first recommend daily walks or runs, not just letting them run around in the backyard. Dog who finds things to destroy are just bored. I'm sure she has calmed down since her puppy days. Yes they do know when they have been bad.

  • They can understand the connection. Unless your dog stupid.

  • Why in every dog video there is a fucking SAVE ANIMALS LEAVE HUMANS kind of tiger girl raging, causing everyone to rage?

  • dogs like "I know i did it but i WILL NOT admit it! If i cant see it it didnt happen!"

  • nice job doggy!

  • This would be upsetting IF that darn dog wasn't sooo cute. Guilty dog :)

  • Bit of favouritism going on there! only blaming one dog! =(

  • Almost all boxers do this once or twice, but if it's something that keeps recurring, then it's an almost always a sign of your dog getting bored. Boxers are an active breed that need a lot of activity.

  • i think they understood you

  • I finally understand why people comment on videos...

  • when she sayed i canot believe what u did i was like yeah nothing wrong then i saw it 0:16 i was like Wow :DDDDDDD

  • wow what a mess! you're a kind lady, i would be running after him, screaming like crazy, while he probably would think I was just playing with him...

  • my female boxer abby does the same thing, we have to keep an eye on her all the time. also she thinks she weights 10 pounds cuz all she wants is to climb on you and be petted. but i love this dog i couldnt hate her bcuz of her cute face.

  • I sometimes find my home like this. It takes me hours to clean it.

  • I love this video. I've watched it several times and I just laugh! What a silly pooch!

  • lol - looks like butter wouldn't melt! Lovely looking boxer :)

  • That dogs face is just too cute to be mad at it.

  • THAT doggie had some fun!!!!! Any dog that can have that much fun needs to be given sime treats

  • You know in the boxers mind...it was so worth it lol. I also own a boxer and he has done this before lol @BoxerBoston. I had a dvd case with hundreds of dvds he would like to rip them all off and place them every where in the house lol

  • my pug was a hard create trainer. there is this spray that you can spray on her sheets in it. its suppose to be a mother dog's scent to clam them down. that work, and a train once told me to hide treats in there so she will want to stay and look for them and also reward them for going in and then expand the time of them in there and rewards them. i dont know if you use these tricks or not its just an idea

  • uhhhh he seems to know what he did and he was so sad he hid in the curtains at the end.

  • My boxer does the same thing!

  • That is a dog the KNOWS he is in trouble. If I open the door and my dog has that posture, I am always afraid of what I will find :) Hopefully this isn't ongoing? Have you tried confining the dog to a room with a doggy gate? I did that with mine, had to get an extra tall one since he can jump! Fortunately he is better now and pretty trustworthy in the house - MOST of the time :)

  • Estas segura de que no se te metieron los ladrones??? jajajaj

  • oHMUMMY, YOU'RE A MEANY. bE KIND AND UNDERSTANDING.

  • fighting cat ninjas perhaps? yer dog an agent and working with canine? with lou as the leader?

  • All dogs do that, my dog does it, even if we're in the house! And it's funny to see how they react when they see you find out what they did, they feel so guilty!! It's almost impossible to be mad at them... I know I can't, I end up kissing him and talking to him like an idiot! =P

  • Seems like separation anxiety to me. I was gonna tell ya to get another dog, but I see you've already got one! The boxer's all like, "I have no idea what you're talking about, Mom! I didn't do it!"

  • I so sad but I think it was so cute how Sweet Pea know her fault and decided to go sit by the window. Adorable!

  • My house always looks like that and I don't own a dog!?!?

  • of coarse puppy's are going to destroy the house!! its what they do best!! gotta love them!! :)

  • Dont remand her for the sake of having a fun clip on u tube

  • I should have went to that party!!

  • all of my bulldogs do this! they know as soon as you say their name there are in trouble...its like watching a kid who knows they are in trouble....they put on the guilty act! lol

  • Oh my!! I totally understand you.I have the same problem with my little one.I 'll try what you did and hope that works.I dont think that mrsbunnytales wanted to insult you.meny people have said to me that this behavior becames from Separation stress and it is so much hard for the dog as it is for us.Also I fount your response so calm.good for you!I cannot even look at her when she destroy everything in the hause..

  • Ignore the naysayers. She knew by your tone she was in trouble. My Bulldog gets the same kinda of thing and she KNOWS when Mama is pissed. People underestimate Dog's ability to reason, they're FAR from stupid. Hope things improve. :)

  • This is nothing. Buy a husky and leave it alone for 4 hours...I share your pain:P Maybe you should walk/play some more with him?

  • I like your description.

  • i dont get mad at my dog i just u liar lol :D

  • trust me, dogs know when they're in trouble. if my dog runs off, and when my dad speaks in a low tone to him, he just kind of sits there and looks sad.

  • And she hides behind a curtain hehehe I have watched many videos of Sweet Pea and she is just the cutest rascal :) The one where she's all muddy is my favorite!! The other ones like " mommy it wasn't me really!! I just chewed one pillow just one, but she made me do it!!! hehehe

  • Just a question: How do you make sure that unacceptable shit like this never happens again? They're not children, so you can't ground them. Talking in a low tone, shouting or even chasing them would be pointless because they wouldn't understand the connection.

And you can't beat them on the spot of course.

    So what do you do?

  • @hecdc Well, we really tried all the tricks they teach you, but what has seemed to work for us lately, is if she was bad, I praise and give tasty treats to our good dog in front of her. She hates that. I don't know for sure if that's the reason she's been so much better, but she has been ALOT better since starting to to this. And again, YES. We know FOR SURE it is her doing the damage and not the little one.

  • @BoxerBoston dnt bother with these people boxers are famous for it! they can be a handful and they seem to ALWAYS do it when you step out for just a bit absolutely adorable but when they get bored they get creatively destructive. i'm glad she's behaving if that was all that changed (the treats) then it is most likely the reason for improvement.

  • @BoxerBoston Please DO NOT listen to negative remarks it shows you love this dog as you didnt go bananas on her. Boxers er EXTREMELY smart dogs I should know I have 4 . This is part of growing up and they will grow out of bad habits. As far as the crate training have you tried putting her in with a chew toy or perhaps one of those bones that you can fill with perhaps peanut butter. She is a beautiful boxer and seems to understand but cute video.

  • @BoxerBoston I think a dog knows exactly that you are angry with him, because he did that what you showing him. So if you give tasty things to the other dog and let him know that he (the bad one) stands outside and is not part of the "pride", what is the hardest punishment for dogs (because wolfs are very social animals) its very sensefull i think (im german sorry for bad english)

  • @hecdc

Rewarding the good dog behavior has always worked for me. Absolutely nothing else. I also tell them that they are "good girl/boy" at every chance that I get when they are behaving (being obedient, etc) - even for small silly things. Never spank them - you don't want them to live in fear of you, you just want them to love and respect you as mom/dad. Helping them understand that they are "good dogs" will help them stay away from "bad dog" behavior. Your words and tone are strong enough!

  • @hecdc STUPID DOGS ARE BASICLY LIKE HUMANS THEY UNDERSTAND US LIKE WE UNDERSTAND THEM SO WHAT THE FUCK DO U THINK THEY ARE SOME STUPID ANIMALS WELL THERE NOT SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!

  • @hecdc You could try firmly grabbing your dog's muzzle (don't squeeze too hard) and gently but firmly push your dog's head to the ground. While doing this, you should say in a firm tone "No", or "Bad Dog". In the wild, wolves bite each other's muzzles to communicate superiority or that the one who is being bitten has done something wrong. Eventually, you dog will associate the words you say while doing that as a reprimand. I'm not an expert, that's just what worked for me.

  • @LiliFromHali I know what you mean, but I that might evoke a negative hostile reaction from it, depending on the breed and your relationship to it.

  • @hecdc Well, obviously you wouldn't go up to a completely strange dog and try to grab its muzzle. Why the heck would you even think about doing that? I'd think the owner would be pretty pissed, too, never mind the dog. I'm talking about your own dog. You have no business disciplining other people's dogs, just like you have no business disciplining other people's children.

  • @LiliFromHali you misunderstood, I'm talking about my own pet. Depending on the level of affection and interaction, some breeds would react with hostility if you do what you recommended.

I'm not talking about children, other people's dogs or anything else. But my own pet smartie ;)

  • @hecdc No matter what breed the dog is, it needs to know YOU are the "alpha" of the "pack" and it should respect you and your actions. I think it's a bad idea to get a dog who you can't control, because that'll just lead you down a bad road. Messy houses are just the start. An uncontrolled dog could maul someone, or run off an get hit by a car. My dog was a pitbull, and I got her almost fully grown from a local SPCA. From the start, she knew I was the boss.

  • @hecdc I'm not sure what you're getting at with the "level of affection and interaction" thing, because when you get a dog you have to be prepared to make it part of your family. That means loving it 100%, and interacting with it as much as possible. You don't get a dog and stick it in a dog house at the back of your back yard, and forget about it. That's not only wrong, it's illegal.

  • @hecdc If you're not loving that dog and taking it out for walks and socializing it, I'm sorry to break it to you, but that's not your dog. That's just some dog that lives in your house. That might not mean you're neglecting it. It could be that someone else in the household is the one that takes it out for walks and feeds it and does most of the interaction. But THAT person is the owner of the dog, not you, so you still shouldn't be disciplining it.

  • @hecdc If your situation is like the one I just described, I'm not trying to say that you shouldn't even bother with the dog. In the dog's mind, there is his/her "pack" and she/he has a place in the pack. That place should always be "omega", meaning the lowest ranking member. Once the "alpha" teaches the dog that it's the omega, the dog should always defer to higher ranking members of the pack.

  • @hecdc As long as you're considered pack and higher ranking, I don't see a problem with you reprimanding the dog. But to be pack you have to be interacting with the dog, and there has to be affection between you two. So if you basically ignore the dog and your partner/parent/sibling is the one taking care of it, then like I said, you shouldn't be disciplining it, because it's basically some strange dog.

  • @hecdc Of course, that wont work on something like a pug, so if you have one of those, I don't really know what you should do... Maybe grab behind the ears instead of the muzzle?

  • @hecdc they only thing you can do is catch them doing it red handed and scream at them say BAHHH you probably think its funny and stupid but the sound BAHH not like a sheep but like a growl sends them the message and the truth behind how to have a well trained dog is by the tone of your voice!

  • Our boxer did the same thing, thankfully not as bad, we came to believe that she was lonely and it was fixed with another dog. We we're very, very lucky. I hope she grew out of it. It's very frustrating to come home to.

  • Oversensitive people in the comment's section.

  • @uBeR1337gUy Yep. I wish people would get over themselves and shut up. You wouldn't tell someone to their face that they're a bad owner; why do you think you can be a know-it-all busybody just because you're anonymous?

  • @slishou Oo, I like you. I agree, it's sort of ridiculous to call someone a bad owner with absolutely no evidence. I've got a hypothesis. When someone expresses a shocking opinion on the internet, they only believe about 10 percent of it, while the rest is just puffed up because they've got an outlet to say whatever they want.

So "you're a bad owner" becomes "that dog could use some training" and "I hate [insert race here]" becomes "I've had bad experiences with [insert race here.]"

  • A dog will only act out like this if it is poorly trained. This is not the dog's fault. It is the human's fault for poor training and/or lack of exercise.

  • @toodeep33 Oh, that makes perfect sense /rolleyes/. One dog was trained well and never misbehaves. The other dog? Oh, I guess the owner was dropped on her head and forgot how to encourage a well-behaved dog.

  • the dog is ignoring her

  • Maybe they were fighting off a gang of ninjas who were trying to rob you?

  • @ozmorphus hahhaahahhahaha

  • Dogs always know when they've done something wrong

  • sweet pea is telling you you work long hours lol

  • @Hermiix36 HAHAHA suprised that someone like you would have ideals!!!!!!!!

  • terrible owner....dog ignores her

  • this would never have happened if you had named him Tyson or Zeus!!

  • @Hermiix36: any moron or 12 year old knows a dog doesn't have that long of an attention span to punish them for something they did hours ago.. hopefully you don't have pets

  • Awwww.....

    too cute :)

  • pugsly is trying to frame u sweetpea. (hes setting u up man)

  • i love Pugsly the innocent but guilty party lol

  • Boxers r not dumb they know what they did I cage trained my dogs only in there when I sleep and when I gone

  • @Hermiix36 go live on a secluded island with no communication from the world until you begin to develop a brain and heart you sad sad lowlife

  • thats seperation anxiety

  • SKaff dæ ett bur til bikkja så slepp du sånn.:p

  • this sounds like a case of real separation aniety and i encourage you to seek professional help from your vet and a positive trainer. Patricia McConnell has a great booklet about this.

  • i'm sure he did it because you named him sweet pea..

  • @ZGoldRush

    its a she

  • i have a boxer and boston terrier too! and the boxer is always the culprit of the crimes while the boston terrier watches in fear for the boxer :D

  • @BoxerBoston Are there going to be any more videos of the dogs soon? :)

  • Comment removed

  • Or maybe both of you are right. A young dog/puppy unsure of their place in the household would certainly have seperation anxiety and do this. On the other hand a dog well-adjusted in the canine pecking order way of things and mature'er' would have abandoned them. Furthermore, mrsbunnytales do you know the person who posted this? If you don't how are you the authority? If you do, and know of real abuse/neglect why waste time making inane comments instead of taking real legal action?

  • I had the same issue with my boxer. She ate through a mattress once. Now I have the same issue with my bulldogge. I can't leave him alone for ten minutes without something being distroyed. He ate three remote controls in two weeks. I feel your pain.

  • LOL!!! my boxer does the same thing and hides his face when he gets in trouble which is usually him tipping over the garbage can. it's like he thinks if he hides his face I cant see the rest of his body...

  • O O O O O oooow. some inventive gardening is done, chaotic design! Like my dog, coming out of the garden to redecorate the livingroom:) spreading some flowers around!

  • That's because she's healty. When my dogs sleeps all day I worrie a lot.

  • Woman: Sweet Pea, bad dog!

Sweet Pea: I didn't do it!

    Pugsley: M-hm!

Sweet Pea: why do you think my name's SWEET Pea?

  • Two words.

Separation Anxiety. Nothing funny about this. Poor dog.

  • @mrsbunnytales Agree, this is separation anxiety, very common...

  • @mrsbunnytales Actually, that's 8 words. And you can keep your sympathy for our "poor dog" You have no idea how spoiled and loved this dog is, regardless of her bad behavior during her puppyhood

  • @mrsbunnytales Bitch, shut up and go screw a bunny.

  • @mrsbunnytales no it's boxers in general they get bored and they go on rampages to entertain themselves. and you're only right about it not being funny this poor lady has to clean all that up.read up on the breed they are famous for this. i left the house to get somethin i was gone 15 minutes and the litter ours jus had was gone when i got there. when i searched the house i noticed my mom's mattress moving and discovered the chewed through it and were inside. all 7 pups fighting INSIDE of it!

  • @mrsbunnytales No offence, but I don't think that this TRIED to be funny. And I believe that if your dog would do something like this, also you wouldn't give him/her treats or something like that...

  • You could tell which dog did it even if you weren't there. Pugsly just stood there chilling, and Sweetpea was hiding her face in the curtain like. "I'm sowwy mommy...." I remember my dog did something like that, only it was with a bag of snickers...she never got sick and we had a FUN time cleaning chocolate out of the rug. But, you still gotta love them. :)

  • awww poor baby he is just a puppy who ..hope he can be doggie trained.

  • Why are you treating her like a human? You need to understand why she's doing these behaviors, and give her an alternative solution, not a lecture. Invest in some stimulating toys, make sure she gets good exercise before you leave (an hour long walk at least), and feed her after the walk. A full tummy after some good exercise helps make one more relaxed and tired. She's scared because she knows you're upset, but she may not know why. You're using a "zero" mentality here that dogs can't do.

  • @S0XF0X Note: I know this video is old, but it's still here where people can see it. If you have a dog with lots of energy, you need to work with that, not against it. If your dog is being destructive, it may grow out of that phase, but if you want to work on it, you need exercise, stimulation, and lots of opportunity for reward! Set you dog up to succeed.

  • gawd i love this video and this is why boxers are the best ever they do then feel bad only and only if u point it out lol

  • hahaha, look at her, hiding behind the curtains, like it's going to make her invisible!

  • u know a kid would do a million times worse ... i was like tht little mess! MY GEZZE!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i've had the same problem with my boxers i can't leave them out while i'm gone, I got a big kennel

  • We have a dobe and a shepherd, if the house is torn to shreds like the flour all over the house the other night, it wasn't the dobe! But she hides and begs for mercy every-time! Just like if you have 3 kids, you know what kid would do what..... I loved the hide behind the curtain, like you couldn't see her anymore!

  • OMG!!!!!! my boxer does the same thing.;) I think its Karma for being left alone......lmao

  • OMG I REMEBER MY BOXER DID THE SAMETHING HE TORE UP MY VERY EXPENSIVE STAR BLANKET ITS AN NATIVE AMERICAN BLANKET MY GRANDMOTHER GAVE ME IT WAS WORTH ABOUT $3,000.00 OMG I WAS PISSED BUT THERE DOGS IT HAPPENS

  • My parents had a boxer and everytime they left her home she got mad n pee'd in the couch or destroy something.

  • just for the people who think that it is wrong to blame one dog.. I have two dogs and it is proven by my vet that boxers are over sad and anxious when their owners leave that they do.. do stuff like this.. my boxer who I love does this all the time.. even when I just leave to check thhe mail which is 10 feet from my house.. Every dog owener who has a boxer is prob. watches this and says wow my boxer did that too

  • haha she hid behind the curtains

  • serves you right for leaving the dog home alone all day

  • like wtf blane 1 dog that shows whos ur favourite

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

  • Um is it just me or is this lady retarded? Blaming one dog when she has two. 'Pugsley' could have easily done that by him/herself aswell.

  • 1:14-1:15 butt sniff

  • lol sweat pea wht did u do

  • Bad sweet p!

  • "Sweet Pea, it was all your doing. You know it" That line cracked me up so bad. lol

  • Sweet Pea is awesome ;) Here in Brazil "What did you do?" means " O que você fez?" and when I say it to my dogs, they react the same way as sweet, they look like people, is amazing!!!

  • I think Pugsly is just as guilty as SweetPea.

  • sweet pea hides her head behind the curtain, now that was too cute .

  • i would be bowing my head if my name was sweetpea

  • Mom i just wanted to be like the people in hangover when they destroyed there apartment

  • Sweetpea needs more love, mama...

  • wow! to the dog house with him!!

  • dogs dont understand english folks, sorry. They also don't understand the concept of "now and later" when they do something and then you "reprimand" them hours or days later...they truly dont associate it. If your dog wrecks your house and you yell at them 6-7 hours later they only know from your tone and your smell that you are upset but not why even if you shove their face in the mess. Its simply not how the canine brain works...no matter what you may believe from their "guilty" expressions.

  • A bored dog will make himself something fun to do. Plus sometimes dogs get upset when you leave an break things . Teach the dog don`t blame the dog.

  • @MrsLeanneElliott WRONG...an uneducated dog will do such a mess...my boxer stay alone for 8 to 12 hours and when i get home everything is perfect!

  • @vladut06 Am not wrong i think maybe you did`nt read what i said . A dog that is not trained will make a mess, for many reasons and sometimes its because they are bored or feel insecure when they are left alone. My two dogs do nothing wrong in my house because they are trained and cared for.

  • stop blaming animals not even i treat animals like that

  • pooor doggie i dont blame her for it

  • DANG thats one bad dog!!!

  • @MPSDoodlzZz bad owners lol :D

  • what is wrong with you woman?!?! A. its YOUR fault this happened, your young boxer needs more stimulation!!!! B. why would you continue to try to make her feel bad?!?!

  • she goes and hides her face behind the curtain...awww...lol

  • i would kick that dogs arse

  • this sounds like an intro to a porno

  • my boxer did something of this sort too not very long ago... it turned out he ate one of my winter gloves and ate everything in sight trying to get it up...

  • How'd the dog now? And Here's an idea, if you cannot handle two dogs then you need to get the dog trained or put in a home where there is a) lots and lots of room or b) people who are not away for long periods. Cesar Milan has two awesome books that relaly help. they helped me that's for sure.

  • Sweet Pea: "The cat set me up I swear!!! Look, Hugslie can back me up"

Hugslie: "Dude I didn't see shit..."

Sweet Pea: "... Damn... fine I will just sit here and hide behind the currtain..."

  • oh yeh thats a biggie

  • My dog does the same haha, he always has a little guilty look about him whenever he's done something.

  • Kennels are bs! They're just an easy answer to the lazy owners who don't want to train their dog. I've never heard of so many accidents and strays as in America just because they're not trained to listen to their owners! Unbelievable! No single person in Europe has such thing! If you're afraid he might have an accident inside, go buy a plush animal!

  • nearly half a million hits!!! LOL, I keep coming back and watching again. Everything about this video works.

  • @ PettRamn

Are you volunteering to take her dog for a walk for an hour every day?
