Maybe you're not doing enough damage. Try to get some materia to give you bonuses to your attack power.

@nickslayer13 Materia fusion. You can fuse two materia and upgrade the bonuses that the materia give you if you do it right. If you look at my materia, one gives me +510% health and another gives me +50%

well the final boss of the game, in the depths of judgement:P, it took me bout 20 minutes but it was fuck easy, but i was on normal though:P the minerva from the mission bosses, is way harder thoughxD

Sephiroth's regular sword combo (where he does 2 horizontal slashes and 1 leaping slash) is identical to his berserk Kingdom Hearts 1 attack (where the screen dims, he hits you with at least 5 combos of the thing mentioned above and a final epic ground stab) ............ some people know it as Sephiroth's version of omnislash

My materia gives me Health boosts. By fusing materia you can increase boosts on your materia by doing it right.

Had you got to Minerva yet.That's like the toughest boss in the game(even worse than Genesis)It's in one of the side-missions if I remember.I have to fight it 4-5 times before I succeeded.

i know of minerva and her difficulty, i didn't care much for the missions though, i never fought her.
