  • why do more i love this

  • they look so natural! x

  • wish i was at your stage :( im hopefully on ma way though :O)

  • What is the music at 4:45?

  • What is the ting to cut the tips called?

  • Can you do mines for me??

  • Thank you helped alot!

  • I wish many others would use this technique. The spend too much time grinding the nail, priming, and then putting so much acrylic on the nails they start lifting in three days. BEAUTIFUL job.

  • Ahhhhhh!! I want these so BAD!! wish I could find someone that did these here in San Jose ca :(

  • @msvickyfranco OMG, Im from san Jose too, and I can't find a decent nail salon that doesn't do garishly thick nails!!! >_< THis technique, I've seen in London though. A bit higher end than other salons, but superb! (have you found a salon that does this btw? Share, share!)

  • wow, you have such a steady hand when sticking on the tips! thanks, this was really cool to watch :)

  • where are you guys located at so i could et my nails done by you asap!!!! lol

  • omg, I wish you can do my nails!

  • whats the name of the background song?

  • The primer is supposed to cover the whole nail (except the false tip) and you dont want to get it on your skin. The reason we use the drill is to file the real nail down a bit and that makes the acrylic stay on and it keeps it from lifting.

They are really cute and natural looking =) Not bad though. winnie the pooh, instead of being so rude to her, why not tell her, not everyone has the time to go and get actual training, its not as important if your not working at a salon.

  • @AlisonHopeRankin "WRONG", you dont have to use a drill to file the real nail down at all .......

All you have to do is remove surface contaminates and oils, a drill should NEVER be used on a natural nail.

Al it needs is a cleanse and a gentle buff

  • Excellent vid!!! And great tutorial! :)

  • why don't we ever have these nail geniuses in canada !!! :(

  • excuse me sir, what was the liquid you used with a brush right at the beginning when you prepared the nail for further treatment? is that a sort of cuticle remover?

and i have to see, your nails are the best by far ive seen on youtube. so beautiful and natural, its almost unreal. every woman should have her nails done this way. looks fab!

  • OMG they are perfect!

  • music scared me

  • * Remember when you go to your youtube page and there wasn't an advertisement at the top of the page? • out of all the nail videos ive watched this is the best thumbs up!

  • I like the fact that you don't have to buff your natural nails.

  • If this system is so great (not an insult, I'm actually dying to try it) then why hasn't it made it to the States yet? It's been out for a while now. I want to get it but I don't want to pay a fortune to get it from austraila. Is there another version, besides illume, like this that is more accessible for those of us in the States?

  • @nerdyolisa hahahah, and as an American I bet you think everything comes from America, it's costs many dollars to develop a product and method then to market it etc.

There are brilliant products all over the world .... think outside the box (America) ... no insult intended, but it's a BIG world out there.

  • this was posted on my birthday :O

  • the primer doesnt? go on nail tip? bit?

  • @jannerww your teacher should tell you where the primer goes

  • @jannerww No, why would you need to prime plstic XD (no sarcasm intended,) dw i used to think the same thing as im to young to do any traing w/e its called.

  • @jannerww it goes on the natural nail only, no need to put it on the nail tip :D

  • i love it

  • I want ot get my nails done now

  • @671cing go4 it iv love ,mine 4 ever x

  • good job!!! u did grotegue nails --beautiful nails!!! congfatulate u you are pro !

  • Hi there, I love the way you did the nails and would like more info, as a nail technician I'm always looking for products that do less harm to the natural nail plates.. Please email me fatz20@hotmail.co.uk look forward to hear from you Fatima

  • can you buy everything that your using at sallys?

  • Even if you paint them and rub off the nail polish would it ruin the nails?

And if i go to any salon in Canada what do i ask for?

  • Can you use the applying technique of the acrylic on the nails, with every kind of acrylic powder?

  • @gelfling1986 NO, each acrylic has it's own application properties and flexibility and drying times, you can try though, but it may not work, as I always say "get professional training"

    good luck

  • loved how you did your nails very professional, and ignore all this ignorant people who post stupid comments, they no nothing that's their problems empty vessels make the most noise don't they

  • Love the video.... and i agree not everything fake needs to look FAKE!!! where could i find all the materials?

  • do the nails you use have tht little dent thinq ? i always wantd to find tips with out the qrove part and another question , dont the nails strt to lift after a couple of days because the nail wasnt fild ? they look qreat btw

  • I love the results!

  • Your amazing, but I think you know that already!

  • Is it my powder or my acrylic liquid that's bad quality if when i apply it on nail it dries reallyyy too fast. Is there a way to make si soft longer?

  • @FOXXOWNSYOUALL it really depends on the product

  • Where can i buy the tips ? I need them =)

  • I have a question where can you buy the products you used in this video?

  • All that removal of dead tissue, thats really not even necessary.

  • @MrRevalonTactics if it is not necessary, you don't know what you are doing, dead tissue on the nailplate makes nails lift and prevents adhesion of the acrylic, perhaps you should revise your training, or are you another "I know everything, self taught nail chick" ?

  • do you have to apply primer????

  • not criticizing, but don't natural looking acrylic nails kinda defeat the point?

  • @hEyBaNaGiRl so you think everything fake should look fake ?

  • @nailzoo no i'm just saying if you want to have natural looking nails, then just leave your nails alone!

  • @hEyBaNaGiRl many people have great looking nail beds, but can't grow length, there are soooooo many reasons for getting acrylics

  • @nailzoo no, i'm just saying that this seems like a lot of effort for something that you had at the beginning...

  • heyy guys... i'v ben watching these acrylic things for long time.. plzzzzz sum one help mee... i meannn i dnt get it.. wen u put the nail on right.. u just wet the brush and dip in the powder and apply over your nails..?? dnt u add other stuff to it or do u jus add the powder and topcoat??

  • @WinnieThePooh208 go and get some basic training, that's the best way to learn

  • Brilliant you make it look so easy but its not, its a skill thankyou

  • You are very good, man!

  • I've always made it a mission to one day live in Australia. Do you still have your salon? Because I'd love to have you do my nails one day.

  • @twohandedforehand still at the salon :-)

  • Nd one more question, idk if i've asked you this before but can you apply nail polish over that if you wanna do a design?

    Thanx

  • @SexieLatinMami yes , you can apply polish

  • So i went on your website nd idk if i can buy your products there or do you not sell them?

  • this is fantastic :) kisses from Hungary :)

  • My acrylic doesn't really stick to my nails. It dislodges easily after it dried. Do you have any idea what may be wrong??

  • @8ghazale8 consistency of product

  • That was nice

  • Does the pink gel air dry or do you need a UV nail drying michine?

  • please dont use this music next time.

  • @IcedLipGloss please dont listen next time, just turn the volume down

  • 1. Once you attach the plastic thingy, and build up the nail, as the nail grows out, can you just keep adding monomer and powder without ever having to add another synthetic tip?

    2. Are avolve products available in the US?

    Thanks.

  • @Grepssoftly thingy?

I think you REALLY need some professional training

  • No buffing or filing of the natural nail? I'm sold! This is awesome.

  • u make it lOok sO natural itz great but i had 1 questiOn i use clear acrylic fOr the whOle nail wOuld that make it lOok less natural then the pinx that u used?

  • @mrzfebo you can use either, depends on the look you want

  • Where did you get that nail primer from

I really need some and i can't any?

  • I love it.. Thanks for sharing..

I have a question, do you wipe the brush after every application and do you wipe it with paper towels or just cloth? Thank you

  • @redsylvia003 I usually dont wipe my brush much (otherwise you waste liquid).

I wipe on a brush mat (a plastic backed dental bib).

  • wats the name of the classical music at the end of the techno thing?

  • nice video! mmm what's the name of the music? :)

  • For God's sake people!! The music is not that annoying!!! Plus are you watching the nails or what????

  • Those look great!!

  • what annoying music, but good video

  • @paula3280 then turn the bloody sound off

  • just a feedback: very irritating kind of song for a tutorial like this, had to put it on mute or i cant concentrate.....

  • @sarahmfonseca and thats what the mute button is for, glad you enjoyed "watching"

  • But why would you pay for professional training when you have just showed us how to do it. Unless the person in question wants to make a career out of it then it's far from necessary.

  • @plumhead05 your name suits you :-)

  • Those look great, and very natural! Im in school for nails at the moment, and have been looking for videos just like this. Do you have a part 2?

  • the best video by far...good quality

  • @blackbird1289 professional training is never a waste of money, please go and annoy someone else

  • @nailzoo that was so rude

  • this is beautiful wow love it

ii want uu to do my nails!!!

buht ii noe iff ii watch this a few times iii might be able to do it

  • @blackbird1289 sorry my honesty offends the fragile

first and foremost, I am here to "show", i'm not here to teach people to do nails from their garage, ironing board or kitchen table.

What many really need is "professional training", not learning from YouTube.

So ....... those people should really "invest" in a career.

Paying for One on One training is the best way to learn how to do nails.

Lastly blackbird LIKE IT OR LUMP IT :-)

  • thats really nice :) i love the look

  • you have amazing skill.. ive seen others where their work turns out really well but theyre very sloppy about it.. your work is so clean and on point !... i wish i could figure out if someone has the skill level like you do before i let them do my nails lol

  • Hey there Carl, I think your work is awesome and I have been totally inspired to go get myself some training and get licenced to do acrylic nails. a few questions, do you know any good nail training places and what is the song to this video clip.

  • It is so much easier to do others nails but then when you do your own(well at least mine) they dont come out as good especially my non-dominant hand>.< I am going to have to keep practicing:/

  • this helped thanks

  • i love the way you do and look so natural. would you let me know where can i buy these product and supply? thanks

  • wow

  • Thank you so much for these vids! I was wondering how long do the nails last and if you have some tips and tricks for extra long lasting nails? I am going on vacation and I would love to have beautiful nails the whole 7 days of bathing and being in the sun :)

  • woooow this exfoliating gel is awesome! i would need that too. could you maybe tell me where you bought it? :) thx alot

  • love the nails you do they look so natural went to your web site also you have an amazing talent

  • is this product only available in beauty supply stores or can anyone buy it?

  • Great video,I like it :)

  • This was one fantastic video! You made this look soo easy. I normally hate fake nails, but they do make the hands look pretty.

Where can I buy the products, that you used in the vedio? Thanks for this video.

  • Hi,

I like all of your vids, absolutely fantastic. Thank for them. I've learned so much and since I've been useing acrylic I have no liftings. But say, how can I buy avolve products in Germany -I have no license or may I can use another one where it is not necessary to buffering the nail plate?

    Wish you a nice day

    greetings from Jennifer

  • @Nailfreak1975 obviously you are interested, get some training and a license, then you can use whatever you want ... good luck, it's a great career

  • When you're applying the acrylic and smoothing it out over the tip canyou see the pink on top of the tip? does it make the tip look faint?

  • so you do not use nail glue

  • @NANNY148 watch the video please

  • @nailzoo dang that was mean

  • @jllove1992 dang that was obvious

  • Perfecttt!!!!!

  • Too close to cuticle!!

  • @sexy4life909 maybe you do them too far away

  • @sexy4life909 i think its kool cuz he removed the cuticles in the beginnin n pushed the remainin back so i guess the further u push them back the higher the acrylic or get can b

  • traditional acrylics ruined my nails. is the avolve system much better for your nails?

  • grrrrr why can't any real nail artists live here... i'm jealous of the people who get to have you do their nails <3

  • how do you fill in?

  • one word: cool

  • one word: wow

  • both there hands look like mans hands

  • @LoVeYourLooks14 ,,, does it matter if the hands are male or female????? I think not, it was a tutorial and a model was needed.

  • Great video!! ..... I love the music = )

  • what's the song to this video!!!

  • my aunt goes to a neil tech and sometimes when she is shaping the nail blood comes out of her cuticle is it because she is being rough while shaping?

  • my aunt goes to a neil tech and sometimes when she is shaping the nail blood comes out of her cuticle is it because she is being rough while shaping?

  • i LoVe the way they look! Cant wait for part 2!

  • i LoVe the way they look! Cant wait for part 2!

  • Where did you get the nail clipper

  • how type of polish is that? its gel like instead of being liquid.

  • great video, i use avolve myself, im treaining in my diploma as a beauty therapist, and i have used many types of acrylic n i find this system is less damaging to the nail. thank u so much for upholding quality in nails.

  • where can i buy recovery exfoiliate can someone tell me please..thanks ..apreciated.

  • music suks on this video......

  • @loveletterify poor luv, don't you have a mute button

  • Hahahahahaha

  • @nailzoo i like the song

  • i like the song

  • @loveletterify I really don't agree, this is much better than the stupid "fairytale-music" other beauty-vid's usually have.

  • I live in belgium, and I am on the site right now because I would like to buy the trial kit... do you know if it can be send here??? I would really like to try it out!!!

  • they are so pretty!!!!

  • who has the time?

  • that is an usual way to do nails.

but i really like. those turned out beautiful.

  • Carl, can you please make a video on how you remove acrylic nails? Please

    Thanks

    YOU ARE THE BEST !!!

  • the best ever!!

  • wish u did my nails

the lady that did mine didnt even push my cubicles back :[

and they started lifting a day later

  • what should i use to trim the tips if i dont have that nail cutter?

    :o

  • Those look so nice.. makes me want to go to nail school.

I try and try to grow my nails out but they're just too thin and always break off or i have to trim them due to flaking. :(

  • Great vids. Can I use the clippers for natural nails too?!

    X

  • Just wondering, what are you using for a nail wipe? Is it a certain brand? It looks like cheesecloth! I've been through countless brands of "lint-free" wipes, but they're never really lint free. Yours seem great!

  • Your videos are really nice. They "made" me place a pretty large order the other day, lol.

  • shotgun, i hope you placed the order with the right company, you don't get these results with just "any" acrylic

  • When i do acrilic nails my brush hardens every hand i do, how do i stop it hardening so quickly?? x

  • miss animal, have you been professionally trained ?

  • No, But i have been watching loads of tutorials, and my friend isnt a profesional but she is training, and she showed me how 2 do it, but she didnt tell me about cleaning my brush!

  • @nailzoo Well that's rude. If anyone watching your video was professionally trained, WHY would they be watching the video in the first place?

  • @deltanuxkcrp ,, Hi I am professionally trained and I watch all kinds of vids on nails. I like to see other peoples techniques, learn new ways of doing things, new products ect.

  • @deltanuxkcrp are you saying once you are trained there is no need to further your education, or see how others do things ?

  • @nailzoo thats mean to say.. apoligize to her!!

  • when i do my acrylic sculpture i cant get the c curve right can u help me please?

  • coga. make your form fit the nail snuggly

  • when your nail is done does it ever grow

  • yes, it grows as normal.

  • dont feel this way actually makes it look more natural but u can actually tell how the tip is glued, like it doesnt cover anything...

  • these nails actually look like they'll last a long time and look really natural unlike others I usually see. 5/5

  • tight.i like this way much better then all the buffing.

  • great video... very simple...

  • i find the use of the stainless steel instrument scary! it seems to harsh to me. why not an orange stick wrapped in cotton wool? I'd prefer that kind of gentle treatment otherwise I think great job.

  • whats the diffrent between Acryl and gel ??

i have long nail so i just wanna use the coulors..if you get what i mean (:

  • Well i know that gel nails are better as far as water goes. So they're good for cosmetologists since they're constantly washing hair.

  • I'd like to get mines done again :)

  • i like the bit wen they put the gell stuff on

  • how can i do this at home

  • i saw that you got pretty close to the cuticle, won't that cause lifting? Oh, and what's the song? lol

  • @caileydawnosaur..... removing the non living tissue and oils from the nails prevents lifting....

  • What nail tips did you use in this tutorial. I see they are a natural but what brand?

  • Beautifully done!
