@Toribugz1 *NSYNC had careers before the Backstreet Boys. A few of their members were regulars on the old Mickey Mouse Club, giving them showbiz experience. The Backstreet Boys as singers are still very popular to this day and haven't shown signs of dying since the hiatus following Black and Blue. Their music and albums are selling well on iTunes and in CD format. Considering their prime passed with the age of boy bands wearing out, it's astounding to see they're still popular.

@captpan6 it does it matter if they had careers before or not, they were equally famous when they were in a group. and they are selling well, but thats cuz the competition is low. Nsync is actually still under contract, they still have to make two more albums. and they will once they find a time they are all available to do so. I can garuntee that when those albums come out, they will be #1 on the charts

@Toribugz1 To my knowledge *NSYNC broke up and everyone ventured into their own careers in music and showbiz. Even so, a new *NSYNC album won't top any charts but it will generate new interest in the band, much like how NKOTB had their rebirth.
