this is great i was looking for a good video on a basic suture technique. just looking to get some info as in my emergency kit i take hiking i have a few sutures in there and last time i was looking through it all i saw them and realized. hey if i had to sew myself up; i wouldnt know where to start. thanks for the info sir.
Is Good But remember on a real surgery the "the gold standard " for closure is to have 1mm apart from each suture and 1mm from either edges. And It takes time if you do not bisect the skin with each suture. This comment was only to make a point for anyone watching this video and know that you are just explaining a technique not the real deal. Thank you so much for your video !!!!! :)
@511Freedom Sutures 1mm apart and 1mm from the wound edge? Sounds a bit close. You'd better make sure all of the tension is taken care of in the subQ if you're going to have sutures that close and small.
thanks
