thanks for posting- I just bought a cp16r and was planning on doing a test synch session using my dvx-100 running at 24fps for the sound- curious about how you synched it up- seems like it worked fine- what issues/problems, if any, did you have with that?
You can remove that grain with a beefed up Spirit. Add more contrast and color like at 3:40. The scratch is from emulsion on the gate. AC probably knocked it away before the latter shots.
If this happens in real life, you can always try removing the scratch by removing some blue in TC. It looks like the scratch was only on the blue layer of the emulsion. By removing the blue, the scratch will begin to disappear.
it looks kinda like you do have some scratches at the beginning. Is that what those blue lines are at the left? They seem to be gone after about half way through.
