  • Cool plane, Im building a Nitro Planes Hellcat and I have the same motor for it. So are you happy with the motor? What prop you running?

  • The engine itself runs great. The elecrontic ignition how ever is only of fair quality. I only got about 8 hrs of flight time out of my first one.

The Prop is a 16X8 APC.

  • @blackwolf47 oh really, did you wrap the ignition in foam, I think the ignition modules are very fragile to vibration.

  • KOOL!!!

  • Nice :)

  • Thks!

    Everyone, F.Y.I.

Extending carb Velosity stack through the cowl MAY cause flooding, sputtering & flameout when throttling down from speed. I didn't want to make any unnessesary adjustments so I thought about it. DUH...when throttling down vacuum is reduced greatly therefore air is no longer pulled down the stack as it should and instead slips over it. I saved a few bucks by fashioning a tunnel ram from clear plastic (see it at 0:42 sec) instead of buying an angled stack. IT WORKS GREAT !
