  • distinguished career and a tough woman...but with kenya's political landscape she doesn't stand an iota of a chance

  • Those eyes Damn!!

  • Martha Karua for president....the way our country is going.we need this lady

she will bring our country back.

    Karua 2012

  • @beuty2011 I wish she can teamup with Raila i support her to the end.

  • Guilt-riddled and probably still having nightmares of that day she had Kibaki sworn in, in darkness, how can she afford to smile????

  • I have mad respect for this lady. She is one politician who works hard. Hate her or love her.

  • Nothing new about this interview. politics tupu. RAO and Rutos were much insightful than this red sofa interview.

  • Martha is smart and beautiful! Wish you well.

  • No husband..........hii mambo ngumu sana.

  • hiyo pesa anatuupa kwa golf she can feed a family a whole yr plus school fees ya watoi be serious!!!

  • @mwendapolee

I wonder how much you practice what you preach. What leisure do you forego and what charity do you partake in ?

Like you said Karua will never be President Of Kenya - but remember not because of her fault but of myopic Kenyans like you who would rather get mugged, robbed, pay bribes, live in unsafe environment, get killed in clashes, and get zero services while paying taxes just so that you can have your favorite smiling tribesman in state house.

  • @tyty1794 first of all am not in politics its karua we r talkin about i want a selfless leader nt one who has her own goals and whos talkin about tribalism here u dont know wat tribe i am but jump to conclusions. What has karua achieved since she´s been in politics. In her position i wud have mobilized funds for idps or street children who r going to mug u tomorrow bcoz they have no otherwise.Karua was a minister ,tell me one thing she acomplished apart from bickerin like a kuku.

  • continue dreamin i dont see karua in statehouse to selfcentered am yet to see what she has done SIASA ya domo domo

  • Those saying she should smile more.Would your mother smile when things are not right at home. She has seen the silly leaders in kenya have ruined kenya.Martha you are the best. You have proved you deserve do be where you are by right not by birth.Kudos mama kenya

  • May God Bless you mama kenya you do us proud. You have my Vote mama 2012

  • yu don't question anythin to do wit a woman's weight LMAO!!!!!,Am dissapointed wit this interview...i knew some pple will have problem gettin cameras closer to them...here we end up wit mare 7min wit lots of politics rhetoric again...she looks sooo uncomfortable talkin bout her private life...would have loved to see her eating githeri or boiling Nduma's in her kitchen...gettin personal...disclosin wha we don't know bout her.

  • @gatangastarrs I agree w u this tells us nothing about Martha that we all dont know about her. She is gurded the only thing we see is her brown sofa set. I liked the interview with Raila and William Ruto. Just like someone said, she is not fit for presidency . A DICTATOR !!!

  • Karua only smiles when others are in trouble! She was all smiles when Kivaki was being sworn in at State house after the 2007 elections. What followed that swearing in ceremony was the slaughter of fellow Kenyans....

  • Yeah, you were a respected Kenyan lawyer, fearless, but when you resigned to make ends meet (thanks to the Kenya govts hefty payments) you changed to defend the indefensible. You can change and I believe you have seen the light. May be you can be a good leader now that you have learned the "lesson of politics" no eternal friends nor enemies. You don't wait to be in the state house to be SINCERE. Yes "we" or you are indscplined and needs to be civil. I like your academic for academics quote

  • @suensmith : Yes Martha is fearless but not truthful. Can someone please explain to those saying she is truthful that her truths are only TRUE AFTER BEING ABANDONED BY KIBAKI's KITCHEN CABINET. How about her stand on the Arturs, etc whatever she spoke then was the second worst thing that ever happened to Kenya (the worst being the PEV). Lots of people who lost their loved ones in the PEV would pay a lot of money for the privilige of telling her THE TRUTH OF HER LIES.

  • i gym here~! any smiles? why so serious?

she has grown a pair in those 18 years...but she needs to be more vocal on the corruption sagas that have hit kenya in the recent past. talk is cheap maám

  • Martha is not the answer. What was her stand on Anglo-Leasing, the Atur bros e.t.c? What was her stand when Kibaki was undermining the ECK by reneging on IPPG agreements on it's composition? What is her stand on Mbuvi and Kabogo as her party members?

  • @benadede. Couldn't agree with you more on this, Martha Karua is almost the evil incarnate in Kenya. I wish to state for the record that I disagree with her sincererity because it is borne of anger and a sense of betrayal at those she protected (Kbaki & etc) (even though she was dying protecting them at the expense of the country) that I can't even bring myself to argue with anybody trying to defend her. She is only bitter at PNU & those who betrayed her.

  • YOU HAVE MY VOTE COME 2012.NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS AND I WILL VIGOROUSLY CAMPAIGN FOR YOU SO YOU CAN OCCUPY STATEHOUSE.

  • YOU HAVE MY VOTE COME 2012.NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS

  • She needs to hit the gym

  • is it strange that i think she's a reformist?

  • But she speaks the truth!

  • Her goading stare and arrogant demeanour marks her out as a hated figure. Eazy madam.
