I thinking of getting a rainbow lory. Can u tell me a lot about them? Do they really squirt poop every where? Are they as tame as other parrots? Do they talk clearly?

I have a green naped lory named Nikki. She will be 2yrs. old on March 12, 2010. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You are so lucky to have them flying around just wild! What a sight that must be to see a flock of them in your garden! I love my bird very much and she is a real darling!

I found out out that he is a hybrid, a cross between a rainbow and a red collar, so is larger than the other lorikeets.

my male lorikeet is exactly like yours and it is mated with a rainbow lorikeet female and the babies come out rainbow lorikeet just without the yellow of the chest
