  • owwwwwwwww

  • mr lucky

  • Kids, let this be a lesson to you, "stupid is as stupid does" . The lesson today from Mr Gravity ; 32.17 ft/s^2 distance = 600 ft speed 32.17 ft/s^2

    answer T = 6.44 sec.

    or your DEAD!.

next time do the math stupid!!!!!

  • Hope they billed him for the cost of the rescue. Idiot.

  • this guy has very strong mind

  • common sense

  • oh crap....

  • ! ! ! He just died ! ! !

I bet he was waiting for the right oportunity to say that for a long time.

  • I HATE it when people say pulling the ripcord. ther is no ripcord nowadays at basejumping and skydiving.

  • First jump $200. AFF $1200. Skydiving rig, $3500. 200 skydives $5000. Base rig, $2000. Ground rush that intense: priceless!

  • @Longway2fall im at step 2 right now :D skydiving FTW

  • @kleinesmaenchen I can't think of a greater thing I have ever done in my life. (I haven't had a kid or gotten married though, so who knows) But damn, driving my pickup to the DZ 2 hrs away super early in the morning, scared out of my mind, and then making a few AFF jumps was just the coolest thing ever. You are going to love the sport of skydiving!

  • " he just died, cool now i can upload this to youtube "

  • the base jumper needs to change his brother seriously id have taken a parasuit n jump down myself pissing my pants...

  • lol the guy is hella calm" he just died" like it happens every day

  • he dead

  • lol he just died wtf is wrong with you?

  • oh he just died wtf

  • Will you marry meeeeee? SPLAT looking ass nigga

FYI, it is a song you know. ('',)

  • Yeah i was begging to worry then :P

  • I want a brother like that beside me on my death bed.

  • he just died... -_- what's wrong with this guy? what kind of reaction is that:|?

  • Whats wrong with him? Everyone doesnt react the same way. Maybe he just died inside for a second himself.

  • maybe...

  • "He just died"

"We'll meet him at the respawn point"

  • LMAO hahaha

  • lmfao good one...............love the douche on the walkie talkie tellin him he doesnt know how hard it is to watch his brother in pain. ya couldnt imagine him not knowing how hard it is, sitting there fucked up while your brothers whining like a lil bitch and you cant find walkie talkie to throw that shit in the river

  • SPLAT!

  • this guy got in over his head on a jump that was far beyond his skill level. that is obvious. you choose to do crazy aerials on low objects, you make an already dangerous situation exponentially more dangerous. im glad to see he made it alive.

keep living the dream brother and dont listen to those who dont have the courage to do it themselves

  • Beyond his skill level huh?...Maybe? But what If I told you this guy was on a diving team from a little kid through college years. What if I told you that he worked at a skydiving facility for 4 summers jumping all day all every weekend while learning everything he could about base jumping. Then went on ground crew missions, then when he had the right amount of skydives went and took an official base course. Then continued to jump have a mentour watch over him.

  • Then jumping as much as he could, gaining a tremendous amount of skill. Yes He was going hard and needed to slow down like so many new jumpers, but this kid did went through the proper channels and got the proper training. Yes crazy aerials on low objects is going to increase the danger ten fold. He new and excepted the risk. I believe he has over 600 jumps today.

  • then i would say that this is just a bad accident if he really had proper training - guys like dwain weston and jeb corliss are physically conditioned for these kinds of jumps, healthy as shit, train in gymanstics, etc.

i suppose what i was trying to say is on something that low, to do a frontflip with turns in it was an extremely poor decision, and the outcome shows this was obvious. i am glad your brother made it alive and im in now way trying to be disrespectful

  • he just died..... lolz wat a brother

  • "He just died"...

Well, let's just pack the bags and go home.

  • idiot

  • hahahahahahaha

  • jaw dropping, my mouth was open like i didn't even realise till i snapped out of the jaw dropping moment lol.

  • He is lucky he got the river.

  • hope he learned his lesson!

  • lmao "he just died"

  • thanks for the suport brother XD

  • We should not pay countless taxpayer dollars for helicopters to save people who execute nearly suicidal stunts.

  • He probably got a huge medical bill and possibly a huge fine too! But lucky guy none the less! I wouldn't of had done any flips at that low of an altitude!

  • Emergency services are there for a reason. The same as any ski accident, rock climbing accident, scuba accident, mountain biking accident, or any other millions of hobby sports. But stay inside your ignorant shell, makes it all the more for us who are actually free.

  • "Emergency services are there for a reason."

    I agree.

"The same as any ski accident, rock climbing accident, scuba accident, mountain biking accident, or any other millions of hobby sports."

    I disagree.

If you choose to engage in one of these extremely dangerous sports, you are CHOOSING to take your life into your own hands.

It is your own responsibility not to get hurt, and if you think you will, you should muster up the courage to just say no.

  • You have fun in your bubble living vicariously through youtube videos. No one sets out to get hurt but shit happens. I pay taxes and i've worked in the medical field for years. If i get hurt, i not only need help, but i DESERVE it. Its the right of every other human being.

Infact, if you are realy into wasting tax dollars why not moan about the drug addicts and welfare children?

  • "No one sets out to get hurt but shit happens."

Jumping off a bridge with a parachute fails to qualify as an innocent mistake.

"If i get hurt ...Its the right of every other human being."

Natural selection disagrees. Individuals who perform stupid stunts like this are less likely to reproduce.

"Infact, if you ...welfare children? "

Drugs harm society because they lead to other crimes, even if legalized.

Welfare children did not choose to be poor. This idiot CHOSE to jump off a bridge.

  • What a crock of self righteous crap, respectfully.

I seriously think in a society we have now, where health has never been so bad with obesity, cancer and alcohol related deaths being at an all time high... Because of peoples lifestyle THEY choose and they still get help for living like slobs. Can you really paint the person with a black brush for trying to break the bonds of regular society and living it to the fullest?

  • "Because of peoples lifestyle THEY choose and they still get help for living like slobs."

That's actually a pretty good point, I think people should be forced to eat healthier food as well, so that we don't have to waste money on their needless diseases.

  • Everything is dangerous. It's just a matter of degree.

  • Slider84, do you have any idea how much cost an helicopter intervention (+ all other rescue expenses & human resources) like this? Do u have any idea how many people in need (homeless families just for example) this amount could help? I must mention that I am NOT against base jumpers nor any extreme people. Just wondering if U'd agree to pay such rescue op' from your own pocket... If U say that what we see here is ALL supported by a PRIVATE sponsor, then it's all fine with me.

  • his brother sounds like an ass he's like o ya ill save you NOT

  • yes, water makes no difference to forces on impact, try jumping off a small bridge if you dont believe me, his canopy cells were just starting to pressurize and slowed him enough to avoid death or unconsiousness. he threw himself to hard into the rotation and 'over-rotated', attempted to get belly to earth position to deploy. so he must have freefell through 100 feet above ground level and i dont think that was a vented canopy either. he survived this time but 98 jumps isnt very many really.

  • "he just died" lol

  • from that height water is as hard as concrete so it really doesn't matter.

  • Hitting water is no better than hitting ground. In Fact, I think its worse because you could be knocked unconscious and drown.

  • it's not the same thing, ground is worse... but water is also dangerous... by the way, even if you can't drown when you fall on the ground, you will shatter your bones and die in an instant... think about it man... :|

  • I'd rather die in an instant rather than getting broken bones and drowning.

  • the water is exactly the same

  • HOOAHH!!! NATIONAL GUARD!!! haha.

  • I'll stick with the death defying couch sits, I'm still technically defying death as long as I'm still alive, right?

  • Yep. I concur.

  • I hope that those guys and all other ones risking their lifes just for fun pay for the rescue expenses (helicopters, etc.). I would hate to hear that the citizens and the community pay for them.

I regard them as a spoiled child smashing his toy with joy and then crying when seeing that his toy is broken.

If they want to risk their lives and have thrills, there're probably many usefull occasions or jobs that also benefit the community or endangered populations in the world.

  • Base jumping is something people do, just like anything else, it is what makes people happy and what gives certain people meaning in life. Its no different that someone having a rescue at a local soccer game for a broken leg. So to just say that base jumpers are spoiled and childlike is pretty much just a blatantly ignorant comment!

  • Yes, it's different as those base jump activities like the one showed here are not authorized, endorsed by the community in contrary to most local soccer games, is it?

  • ok gabba, you would hate to see the community pay for an accident like this, but you, me and everyone else pay money out of each paycheck to keep scumbags, violent criminals, child molesters and rapists in federal prisons?

some people like to live outside the box. its not a tragedy to die doing what your heart truly loves. whats worse is normal people never following their hearts, to scared to go out and chase their dreams, getting in their steel coffins each day and driving to and from work

  • well atelast he didn't hit the ground

  • haha scary. 5/5 p.s. when i was watching so was someone called harrypotterrocs and i just finished reading harry potters 1 through 3 im on four right now. yes i already read them before.

  • He was calm about it because 99 times before that he was ready to say the same damn thing dumbshit. He knew that his bro couldn't go through his whoe life base jumping an getting away with it. You have to know how to deal with it before filming crazy stuff like this. It is what separates the Men from the boys...

  • you mean 97 times lol

  • The collective IQ of these two can't breach 36 or so. The brother talking calmly into the walkie talkie was hilariously retarded. The basejumper just fell 1) into water, 2) at 100mph and 3) is screaming in agony. Do you think his Walkie is working... much less that he could speak into it? Couldn't you yell down to him considering that you could hear him screaming? Also, don't you have any sort of contingency plan other than calling paramedics? This was so close to winning a Darwin award...

  • i think the little bit of water saved him

  • Hart

  • yeah.nice jump

    some cool some crash..

  • Jesus Christ... lol why like that!

  • ...he just died.... WTF hes your brother... would you be like... OMFG HE FUCKING DIED OMFG THATS HORRIBLE...... but instead... "he just died....." WTF he was so calm about it

  • wow.. why don't you go be a dick and tell someone how to react to their loved one's death? it's the difference between an extroverted drama queen and an introverted realist, and has nothing to do with how much the person cares.

  • his brother really thinks he wasnt gonna pull through.

  • gravity's a bitch

  • hes just like "i wanted to make youtube!"

  • the stat on it is like 1 out of every 3 base jumpers know some one who has died jumping (i think its made up thow my skydiving instructor told me that and i kinda doubt it)

  • He was like "He just died." =P

  • Wow, I'm amazed at the comment that said: "He just died."

  • lol.. when i first saw him come out of the flip i was like wtf was he thinking?

  • ha! first comment!!!!

  • fail

  • Fail

  • im like 1..2..3..PULL!!!!

    PULL IT DUDE!

and his brothers like... he just died

    DAMN DUDE!!!

    hes kinda cuite

    another one!!!!!!!

    WOW!

  • Yeah I was thinking come on pull!

  • 'he just dies' lol :P

  • holy shit that is nuts...lol

  • that must hurt a lot poor guy

  • Narrator fail!

" The drop takes less than 8 seconds. Alex will only have 4 seconds to pull his ripcord."

The poor guy hit the ground in 5 seconds.

  • Umm... what didn't you understand about the fall taking 8 seconds total and him needing to pull his chute within the first half of the fall....

  • he was including the slowdown of the parachute when it opens i think

  • with the slow down it would probably take like 30 seconds

  • o yea, well after i posted i took another look and i did count eight seconds without the parachute

  • wow thats crazy

  • loser

  • So you are mad that you didn't post the first comment?
