Samantha Stevens' nose-wiggle ---you know what I'm talking about if you've ever watched "Bewitched"--- came from a nervous habit that Elizabeth Montgomery (the actress who played Samantha) had as a teenager. My point is that the writers no doubt took a characteristic of Debra Jo Rupp and incorporated it into Kitty Forman.
