@Webofscience if u put ur mind to it its really not hard to learn at all. if u notice joe satriani, steve vai, john petrucci. they all definitely can shred. but what do they do? they slow down and make emotional masterpieces. trust me if u get a months worth of an instructors help you would get it down quickly. i started shredding after about a year or so

Whether you take the artists technical ability, songwriting style or maybe the guitarists, feel all of the 3 can inspire you to do great things with the guitar. Thats right Al Di Meola and Steve Morse ,2 Awesome Guitarist who get no recognition for their songwriting and skill with the guitar. Guys like Vai, Satriani and The Great Jeff Beck now play guitar like their Bragging "look what I can do" and their not as fluid sounding as they use to be.
